I'm going to go with awesome.  It fits 2020 perfectly.

this looks amazingly awful, but I am in.

2:07 punching bag with Santa cutout moved from parody to ridiculousness.

probably unwatchable.

Probably will watch on a Delta flight mid-2022

I am so fucking in. It's live action Robot Chicken Christmas.

Move over Jingle All The Way, there's a new shittiest holiday movie ever.

Uh I’m not going to argue the merits of jingle all the way but it’s got be be ten times better than the sequel they made starring....

Holy crap! I had no idea there was a second one. I stand corrected.

Lol I didn’t either and was googling the original to pull a sinbad gif and saw the autocomplete suggestion of 2.

Also, some of y'all could probably watch the trailer for Roadhouse or Point Break and trash it. If they do this right it could be a classic.

Thread title seems aggressive. Are you a Jew?

Thread title made me think of this:

The best thing about that trailer is that there doesn’t appear to be any tongue-in-cheek hipster irony. It actually takes itself seriously, so that ramps up the possibility of unintentional comedy. For that reason, I’ll find time to stream it.

Yeah, it looks like it follows the Roadhouse or Point Break method of taking a highly ridiculous premise and playing it seriously. Which means it might be great.

Favorite line: "You think I got this job because I'm fat and jolly?!"

I'll be using that line with my co workers going forward.

Just finished it and loved it. Walton Goggins and Mel Gibson are perfect.

What makes it R rated? Asking because I may or may not take my 8th grader depending on your answer.

And yes, I realize getting a straight answer is unlikely but I’m asking anyway.

Other than the hot Santa on Mrs Claus action, it gets pretty bloody.

Will catch it this weekend. Loved the trailer. Gibson and Goggins are both fantastic actors. I think they are excellent as adversaries.
