April 22, 20187 yr Hamilton crushes s 60-foot pop up and the inning is over. Zero runs against UNO Sunday guy
April 22, 20187 yr Sometimes you can almost feel them laying an egg. This one has that feel Hopefully they get it together

April 22, 20187 yr New Orleans outhit UT in game 1 and game 2. We're fortunate to have won those first 2

April 22, 20187 yr Another easy inning. Pop up, whiff and a nice play by the SS. Edited April 22, 20187 yr by zlavydra Sophistry
April 22, 20187 yr Hamilton needs to get on those Willie Mays Hayes penalty push-ups when he hits one in the air.

Ruffin, Kasparek and Wood. https://stats.texassports.com/sports/m-basebl/2007-2008/08teamcume.html ERA 4.48. We are currently sporting a 4.25.
April 22, 20187 yr New Orleans either played out of their minds this weekend or they are much better than their RPI indicates. That's a good ball club that showed up this weekend. Much better than most of the midweek teams we've played. Edited April 22, 20187 yr by texasstrong12

April 22, 20187 yr Yes, let's host as the 16th seed and get matched up with Florida in the Supers. If we are going to have any shot at all at getting to Omaha, it's going to be as a 2nd seed in a regional with a favorable match up in the supers.

Some teams just play out of their minds for a few games. We didn't play great this weekend but I don't think these close games were all on us. UNO came to play this weekend. The team we played this weekend is nowhere near the caliber of teams we've played midweek. Edited April 22, 20187 yr by texasstrong12

A couple of those guys would be in our starting lineup IMO. The UNO middle of the order is night and day from the teams we saw midweek. Edited April 22, 20187 yr by texasstrong12
April 23, 20187 yr Their starter has only gone longer one time this season than he did today. Against fucking Southeastern Louisiana State College. Guy has been on a sub-4 inning pitch count limit 9 times this season because of stamina issues. He's been lit up by the likes of Central Arkansas and McNeese State this season. He made our lineup look very typical of the last 7 seasons of Longhorn baseball. Embarrassing. We're gonna be on the bubble from here on in and they're gonna point to Sunday ass-whippings at the hands of sub-.500 Southland Conf. team. We're gonna need to sweep our remaining mid-week games and have a run in the conf. tourney. This loss looks ugly in the standings (nobody looks at this shit and thinks, "hey, their Sunday starter must be an ace to cool the UT bats at home that way.." Edited April 23, 20187 yr by Lobo
