October 14, 20205 yr Dude swings into the pitch. Take your base and shake it off... Edited October 14, 20205 yr by slorch
October 15, 20205 yr Greinke is like a more refined( and obviously better) Charlie Hough. I know it's not a knuckleball, but when Greinke floats one of his 55mph curves in there, Hough is exactly who I think of. I tell my boys to enjoy the artistry and execution of pitches by Zack. It's rare, indeed.

October 15, 20205 yr “Kiermeier was kind of diving( into the pitch) a bit...“ lolz. Ya don’t say... Edited October 15, 20205 yr by slorch

October 16, 20205 yr Good luck tonight, fellas. Cracking open up a beer here shortly to start this LCS gamewatch. Win this one for Danny Darwin from your '86 LCS squad. Bonham's favorite son turns 65 next week. To hell with the Devil Rays.
October 17, 20205 yr Author I really don't see how the Rays win this game tomorrow. They are shook. And I think they are done. Choke artists to even let this shit to get to this point. Now as I type this, they will come ou and win 11-0. The Rays were not overpowering in their 3 wins that much. Astros had so many chances and loud outs. Now all of that is evening out. Astros have much more talent.
October 17, 20205 yr Honestly, the Astros should have won at least one of the first 3 games. Baseball is weird though and it’s any team’s game tomorrow.
October 17, 20205 yr Yep. Anything can happen in one game. Just happy to see the boys fight back to have a chance to win it.
October 17, 20205 yr Author I don't know. I remember the Red Sox fighting all the way back from 0-3 and Yankees had zero left for that game and I believe Boston took it with ease. I see that happening tomorrow. Not sure how much momentum really matters in baseball but the Astros have it all now.
October 17, 20205 yr MLBnet had an interesting graphic comparing Red Sox-Yankees 2004 scoring to Astros-Rays. 1st 3 games: Red Sox-Yankees 16-32, Astros-Rays 5-11 next 3 games: Red Sox-Yankees 15-10, Astros-Rays 15-10 (game 7 was 10-3)
October 18, 20205 yr Re-post from LA Clippers thread...technically works here too (and maybe ATL-LA) Zunino!Tapasuck

October 18, 20205 yr If I knew we were going to win tomorrow, I’d root for Houston because nothing would make me happier than to beat their smug asses. But since I don’t know that, fuck the Astros and I hope they lose.

Maybe they used up all their magic to tie this up and didn't have any left to finish it off. Like a big comeback in basketball.

But I need a ruling on who is a bigger douche: long-haired McMullers or 2 haircuts a week McMullers from a couple years ago...?
October 18, 20205 yr Who is in the booth saying this is the easiest 5 innings in a game 7 he’s seen? im wondering if he had thought of the 1991 World Series game 7 when he said that.
October 18, 20205 yr A walk and 2 infield his isn't sloth for me to pull Uncle Charlie there...Let's go, Brantley.

October 18, 20205 yr I’d like to see the stat cast on that. Not sure I’ve ever seen one that high go that far.
