October 19, 20205 yr A day at a waterpark has to be one of the lower rungs of hell. Anything open to the public is going to pack that thing to capacity, at least the housing development lagoons can somewhat control access, but I guess it doesn't matter if you plan on 10k home community.

At least the RR shitter plant is downstream from the Kalahari development. My grandnephew (a fire marshall) has spent a lot of time at that project.
July 26Jul 26 Author https://www.kxan.com/news/local/leander/planning-and-zoning-commission-votes-to-deny-leander-springs-project/ Austin-based iLand Development Group has been denied recommendation for approval from Leander’s Planning and Zoning Commission to update its planned unit development as it works to finally build the much-maligned 78-acre Leander Springs project northwest of Austin. The project was announced to much fanfare in 2021 based on the promise that it would bring 1,600 apartments, a hotel and convention center, 1 million square feet of retail space and a four-acre lagoon. While the development team secured final zoning and other approvals in 2021, the site at the corner of Farm to Market Road 2243 and the U.S. Highway 183A frontage remains untouched — and has faced numerous setbacks, including owing millions to contractors and losing its incentive agreement. https://www.bizjournals.com/austin/news/2025/07/25/leander-springs-amendment-zoning-lagoon-project.html

Custer was killed by a woman war chief - Buffalo Calf Road Woman, who had been honored for her bravery in past battles with Custer and wanted revenge after Custer had killed her father and brother. She killed him with a war club, and when went down the women came and stuck needles in his ears so that he wouldn't hear their ancestors coming for him in the afterlife.
