After waiting a dang year and a half, I'm going to have to watch this at least a week after it's out. I am also travelling to TN on the 4th, so will be that Sat before I can watch it. If you are headed to Knoxville, will be just down the road in Cleveland.

June 26, 20196 yr Yeah, this will be my third time down the river. Got dumped out once and had to catch up to the raft, me and two others. We got too close to the banks and a limb was sticking out, went to duck under it and fell out.
June 26, 20196 yr I hope you two Tennessee outdoorspeople got your applications in for the Barkley marathons.

July 4, 20196 yr Using Billy in the homage to Phoebe Cates' infamous Fast Times scene was pretty funny.
July 4, 20196 yr Am I gonna die if I take a shot every time “dingus” is uttered? And why is Jake Busey out here looking like Boris Johnson? Edited July 4, 20196 yr by TheStoicPaisano
July 4, 20196 yr Only watched the first episode and loved so many little details. The Soviet's machine looked like the monster from the first season. "Use Good English" textbook. The movie announcements. So much good stuff. Also, Nancy's ass is really coming in for summer. Edited July 4, 20196 yr by Lobo

July 4, 20196 yr Little disappointed that Hopper can't handle a double scotch and four glasses of wine. That's six drinks for a guy his size over the course of several hours. For shame, Hop. For shame.

July 5, 20196 yr Yeah, but he brings most of the Chianti with him home. Where it seems he lingers for awhile over television and the notion that Ele is okay. 7:00-10:00p is my guess. For a guy that size with that tolerance, 6 shouldn't have been an issue for him. Anyway, back to the actual show. First three episodes have been better at the nostalgia factor than Season 2. And they've done a deft job at handling the maturation of most of the characters. They even do that sly 80's/90's thing where when key characters are getting too old, they conveniently skip moving away for college/work and are rodeo'd back into the town for some reason. I like that real Indiana schools like Purdue and Indiana State and Indiana Tech are mentioned right out of the gate. I heard Barb ended up at IUPUI. Upsidedown Purdue Intraworld.
July 5, 20196 yr Just finished it with my girls. That last 10 minutes or so hit hard. They kicked it up a notch this season imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
July 5, 20196 yr Is there a way to watch the recap again? It gave me the option when I started the first episode but I can’t get back to it so the lady can watch it.

July 5, 20196 yr Fucking hell, when ‘Heroes’ kicks in, you know it’s gonna get dusty. Glad Max and her awesome braids are still around. Edited July 5, 20196 yr by TheStoicPaisano
July 5, 20196 yr I took two days to watch all of season 3. I just finished. Hopper is a great father. I'm glad they already announced they will be making at least a season 4.
July 5, 20196 yr Watched it with my daughter and she picked up on the big bad Russian guy looking/acting like the Terminator as another 80s callback. I was so proud it nearly brought a tear to my eye. Her education is progressing.

July 6, 20196 yr It was so subtle that when hopper asked the mayor his name, he said Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have a couple nits to pick but fun ride overall and pretty tight time wise.
July 6, 20196 yr So the plot required Eleven to lose her powers so she couldn’t locate Hopper in that secret Russian prison, right?Have to save that for next season.
