I am cross posting the hell out of this.

I'm surprised they aren't blaming the illegals for buying up all the gas.  Isn't it also about time for those gargantuan migrant caravans to begin their long journey to the border with a FNC countdown clock tracking their eventual arrival on election day?

This is fucked up and wrong:

the Texas Supreme Court is nothing but a rubber stamp for the Texas maga gqp. This state has a regime, not a government of the people

So illegals are responsible for our crime, spreading Covid, formula shortages...what else? Need to get my talking points straight.

Turns out a little nuance is important:

Abbott and Paxton have no authority to direct the investigations, so court reasons no need for injunction. Upholds case brought by the investigated family

I am pleasantly surprised but still far from convinced that this is over. Trans people and kids are too easy of a target for social conservatives

Oh you know it's coming.  Probably in September or so.

Don’t give the rollerhater any ideas.

Proposed amendment to the Texas constitution coming soon to a polling place near you.

If I was running against Abbott I would focus like a laser on the shitty Foster care system that Abbott is responsible for.  I mean the guy wants MORE unwanted kids and they system he has personally implemented is horrific.  Basically Abbott's foster care system is quite frankly indefensible.

I also point out that rather than Punish profiteers from the snowpocolype, abbott and companay instead decided to push all the purden onto the Texas taxpayer and not FIX the grid.

Abbott actually love to point out that in both instances Governor Abbott simply can't find the money to help fix these problems.  I would also then point out that he can destroy the lives of Texas National Guardsmen, and find half billion for photo op border enforcement.  Why Doesn't Greg Abbott care about the unwanted children he professes to care so much for?  Why doesn't he take care of the children in his charge rather than put them in positions to get molested because of his lack of caring for these actual children?  If Abbott is not responsible who is? Rick Perry? The only constant is the Republicans simply do not care about the children in their care.  They just Do NOT Care!

No money for the Children in his care... just molestations and excuses.  Just molestation and excuses!!!

In the time it would take you to articulate all of those thoughts, Abbot/GQP would simply scream that they are the only hope to save Texas from the evil, liberal, socialist democrats that are ruining this country, and the entirety of the GOP politicians and their voting block will retire to the bar, slapping high fives, and bragging about who would suck Trump's dick with the most panache. Abbot and the rest of the Texas GQP careen further and further to the right because that's what wins the approval of your fellow Texans in the voting booth.

Relief is on the way!!!! Thank you Texas Republicans for making it this easy to get in after 20 years of leadership. Biden needs these supply chain workers and Texas need more homes built with these same guys.  I’m not sure where the dangerous, fentanyl induced killers hell bent on invading the country are at, but hopefully these ones invade Home Depot ASAP.

I hear they shoot fentanyl out of their eyes and anyone who looks upon them is instantly converted in to a gay Muslim.

Yeah--this is not a great outcome for Abbott.  It affirms the plaintiff's injunction.  And, perhaps more importantly, it reveals that he doesn't have authority to instruct DFPS to do shit.

And really, that's right.  Pretty much all of what Abbott does is performative bullshit without any real substance of meaning.  And SCOTX kind of called him on it.

what shocked me to begin with is DFPS leadership immediately went all in to start up these investigations that AbbPax obviously acted without authority to order.

The feds should shut off all federal funding to this shithole until Hot Wheels pays back the COVID relief money.

I'm sure it will get as much attention as the dotard or ken paxton.  Nothing matters.  None of the bad guys have consequences.  Fuck the simulation.

The legislature will take it out of educational funding.

Taking a page from Perry, the leadership of every State agency is staffed with Abbott friends and family.

At this point, there has to be enough people to vote against gov wheels that he’s out, right??

One would think so, but this is Texas. We are outnumbered by pieces of shit like "baron_von_awesome" on Texags.

We will never give up our guns Steve, we don't care if there is a mass shooting every day of the week.

So, no, we're not getting rid of Abbott, Patrick or Paxton - not even if the power goes out for the entirety of the summer and kids get gunned down every day until the election.  Fuck this place.

Got it. Haven’t had my coffee yet and reality hasn’t set in.

Yeah, Texas is chock full of ignorant, mean-spirited pussies who'll vote R regardless of, well, anything.

Well, school shootings are well within the scope of the boogaloo dream.

Go read the Texags Politics board and then realize that their thoughts aren't out of line with a considerable number of Texas voters.

We're getting to a world of routine state-wide electrical grid failures, and women with no health insurance and also pregnant with their rapist's baby - each of them driving past schools where you can hear the pop-pop-pop sound of military rifles slaughtering children - and they're all on their way to vote straight-ticket R because they value some grossly perverted and hypocritical interpretation of White Jesus more than utilities, healthcare, women's rights, education, sensible gun control, and public safety.

A big part of the problem is that the competing party is fucking worthless in this state.  Cuellar is one of the most prominent Dems in the entire state and the guy is an example of everything that is wrong with the party - corrupt, machine-style politician who is pro-gun, anti-choice, and the party nationally went to bat for him to hold off someone halfway decent from taking that crook's seat.

Young people have to get out and vote, that’s the R’s worst nightmare - them showing up in force at the polls

You underestimate the number of dumbass right wing dipshits in our state.

It's a minor point, but why do so many of these politicians fail to grab the most obvious domain names?  Do they not have communications teams tasked with thinking of this shit?

Don't answer that.

Yep, the youngsters in my area vote in line w/ their elders.  Not one fucking thing will change.

Just get used to dead kids and unwanted babies.  'Murica.

During Greg Abbott's short tenure as governor of this state, Texas has had 3 of the top 10 worst mass shootings in US History.

5. Sunderland Springs 26 people 2017

7. El Paso Walmart 23 people 2019

8. Uvalde 21 people 2022

Beto confronts Abbott… Cruz and co have words.

Beto should have showing his Surly credentials and told Abbott that he needs to take a stand on gun control.

From vacation. Only news I've followed. Beto bitch slaps Abbott as the complicit fuckwad of a governor boo hoos about the families and alludes to compulsory pregnancy speaking of the gift children are.

Beto lets in some light. Move towards it, Texas.
