Odd 4:30 CT start on ESPN2. WVU starting QB is from Lubbock. Neers’ slight road favorite. Neal Brown, the HC at West Virginia, was Tuberville’s OC. He’s who I wished Tech would have hired instead of Wells

I'm trying to think of something to say about that trophy.  I'm speechless.

They coulda thrown a turtle on a pogo stick in there and it wouldn't be any more ridiculous.

I prefer thinking of it as the "Mr Sunshine on my g.d. shoulders Series"

Coulda been a bottle of moonshine and a syringe of penicillin...

I like the trophy.  It's different and fun... unlike Tech Football.

Needs more howling wolves.

What would college football be without this storied rivalry? You go to West Virginia to play rivalry games with huge implications against traditional powers like Texas Tech University. If seeing the victors hoist this timeless trophy over their heads doesn't bring a tear to your eyes, then surely the soot from a burning couch or dust moving on a 60 MPH wind will!

87 yard punt is the highlight of the game so far.  Might be a little wind in Lubbock.

He kicked it into a 10 MPH wind. And 30 feet below street level

Henry Deutschendorf Jr. (aka John Denver) attended Texas Tech. I had to search that out as I was trying to figure what he had to do with TT.

Ain’t that the tooth.  There’s no great team and one decent, top 20 sort of team.

Correct decision.  but Wells and Yost still have a long way to go to impress.  I still think they were a bad choice, hope I am wrong.
