You have to order them from Europe thru Amazon, but Cadbury makes a "Curly Wurly" that is the old Marathon bar.

My childhood favorite....

I feel like the flavor blasted goldfish used to be soooo much better.

I don't recall ever drinking any of the Carnation Instant Breakfast servings; however, I certainly recall the ad.

You can still get these, which are pretty damn good.

This was gonna be my submission. Well done

I don't know if it's because I was poor, and this type of food seemed high class to me or what, but I really think 80's tv dinners tasted better than anything that's available today.

I ate about 10,000 of these in college.

They still have a cookie sandwich, Toll House I think it is, but those were better.

Speaking of frozen fried chicken dinners, have gotten hooked on these of late, really good when cooked in air fryer...

Banquet-Mega-Meats-Original-Crispy-Chick

They have a Cowboy version I've yet to try.

I think he's referring to the Mars Almond Bar.  Which is essentially a Milky Way with almonds on top of it, like an Almond Joy versus a Mounds.

I believe you are correct that what is known abroad as the Mars bar is a Milky Way here.

correct - and doing a little digging, it looks like the mars almond bar is now the snickers with almonds, which makes sense because those are amazing

Man.....these.  They were like 99 cents or $1.29 back in the day.  I'd buy two.  Mix all the enchiladas together, mix all the beans and rice together, and then eat them all like a dip with tortilla chips.  It was a $2-$3 FEAST.

@NowThis

Mmmmm... some of the Mexican TV dinners had a small salsa tray AND some kind of shortbread.  One may have even had a flan/warm pudding dessert.

Fuck those things they would go on sale and my dad would buy 30 of them and I’d have to eat them like 3-4 times a weak.  Never again.

Ungrateful punk.  Sounds to me like your dad loved you very, very much.

This is what we ate in our house. There’s even a Facebook group dedicated to bringing them back. The rice it came with was like crack. I did the same thing with the mixing and tortilla chips and I’d add Pace Hot all over the top.

Also, pace?

Karbach Yule Shoot Your Eye Out prior to 2016. Anheuser Busch changed the recipe I assume to improve their margins, and it’s been awful ever since.

I’ll miss Belden’s in Meyerland. Only dedicated Kosher grocery store in Houston. They had a lot of good wines you could only find there. A lot of cool dry goods, frozen foods and meats too.

The Bell Beefer at Taco Bell was part of my four food groups-and in the 60's/70's, the Bell Burger made my top ten late night list.

August's fried pies. United Supermarket bought the brand, but they used to be in every convenience store and gas station. Damn good pies. Best thing to ever come outa Lubbock.

Yeah I devored Pace when I was a kid. Nowadays I prefer homemade salsa but back then it was a simpler time.
