Why does this seem like Andrew Beck 2, electric bugaloo? Nothing against Brewer at all..good kid, smart and works hard, just doesnt have prototypical tight end body or skills.

Andrew Beck is gonna make $850k to play football this year. If he goes Andrew Beck 2.0 this year, that'll be a big development for the team

Andrew Beck 2.0 would mean an all-conference H-back season for Cade.

If he suddenly became a useful and productive player at his position that would absolutely be Gaskamp award material. But usually those guys are people who simply did not have the opportunity for whatever reason and then suddenly when given the chance really shine. It’s very unusual for someone to develop into a spare part by the end of their junior year and then suddenly blossom into a real player at their position. I’m not buying the Brewer stuff being pushed by IT.

I really thought he was going to run that one back.

When he started running I thought “I would’ve opted for kneel & hail mary, but I guess laterals work”. That dude didn’t even think about a lateral, tried hurdling people & everything. What a moron.

Maybe if he was a Make a Wish kid. He should have gone down to let our O get one last play.

I would like to sincerely thank you for making me laugh after that fucking ending.

Yeah hurdling a dude 60 yds from the endzone was a 0% success proposition.

Laterals and nonsense not particularly high probability, nor taking a knee and doing the same... but they were > 0% options

Some men are born heroes, awaiting their opportunity for greatness. In that moment, Cade probably thought the grandchildren of people in the stands today would be talking about the time he ran a squib kick back 70 yards to tie it up.

How fucking shitty are our other 6 scholarship tight ends that this guy has been a starter for 6 straight years?

For fuck's sake, is there anything he does competently?

Why the fuck is he on the field running a 5 yard curl route on 4th and 10? Just brought extra defenders to that part of the field.
