Oregon up 14-7 on the Cardinals. Oregon QB is drastic downgrade fromHerbert, but their running game is good.

Stanford QB Tanner McKee had been on mission and he's now a frosh. Former 4* qb from the '18 class.

Oregon RB scores to make it 21-7. Nice run.

Will Stanford ever fire David Shaw? Their regression is massive. Harbaugh left him with a crazy amount of talent, and he can't coach his own.

Shaw's first season under .500 was last year. Not time to panic yet. Plus, it's Stanford. Their historical average for wins in a season is what, 3?

Remember when fans on TOS wanted David Shaw to coach the Horns. LOL. Oh that’s right  @Bozo_Casanova STILL has him #1 on his list to replace Herman. Haha. Running a pro style offense in college in 2020 is moronic. See Stanford and Georgia. Cristobal would be a great hire for the Horns. He’d build a monster of a program

Shaw won with Harbaugh’s recruits and hasn’t come close to the success since.

You can just see the regression happening. 9-5, 9-4, 4-8 the last 3 seasons. At least 3 conference losses. Something isn't right. He's got some 10 and 11 wins in there, but they're scattered between other 9 wins

Yep, regression is happening...back to their historical average.

Which I'm glad. Maybe they'll stop stealing all of our fucking linemen

Good thing he already has a degree from Stanford

Hell yeah. No shame in that. This game will be forgotten while that kid is going to do great things. I feel for him, tho. No one wants to feel like they let their teammates down.

Let's look at the records.

2015  12-2....5 years after Harbaugh left.   Bowl Win

2016  10-3 Bowl Win

2017 9-5 Bow Loss

2018 9-4 Bowl Win

2019 4-8

As Ed norton said, they are regressing.

I don't think Shaw gets canned unless they put up 4-5 seasons in a row of sub .500 ball.

Then if you can him, the question becomes...who do you try and hire? It takes a special coach to go there and be successful and deal with the bullshit that is California

Im kinda sick and tired of every god damned review having the  tv "review ref" telling us why every play is being called ( while still being wrong about 33% of the time)

and this should be a catch

Oh God this. The NFL, too. Like, we get it, ok? You telling us this shit doesn't mean we can't see shit with our own eyes. K thx bai

UO with another rushing td. 35-14 now. Their run game seems legit so far, but I have no clue how good or bad Stanford will be in the end.

Herbie logic :

"Texas losing is a cesspool"

Stanford losing "I know they're down big, but I like how they're putting their foot forward."

OK, dumbass.

I don’t really believe Shaw has regressed, as much as I believe the offensive side of the ball has evolved, and to a degree left him behind.

Shaw is an old school guy, just like Jimmy. And strangely they are both suffering from the same disease, total lack of imagination in their offense scheme, and lack of talent at the QB position.

I think both are fully capable of putting guys in the correct spot. They just don’t have talent at the most important position.

Hopefully today cured folks of thinking James Franklin and David Shaw would be great hires here. They both suck ass.
