I have a projector that I use in the backyard. I use eight JBL Flip 4 speakers for sound. This works fine if it’s just adults, but once a few kids are in the mix, it isn’t enough. Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive solution that would be better?

All I can add is that Bluetooth speakers for watching video content probably would be annoying due to the audio lag

That’s very helpful. Thank you.

I have used bluetooth speakers with apple tv and with a fire stick and there haven't been any sync issues with the audio.

Stop inviting kids to your adult drive in theater.

Klipsch are pretty much the best speakers there are.

If you're just looking for something louder, and not necessarily surround-sound quality, I've been using something similar to this.

I connect it with an aux cord, so there's no lag.  Plenty loud enough, sturdy, etc...  We use portable screen, so it's easy to just move around the yard whenever we put the screen in a different place - i.e. front yard on Halloween.

How much? I don’t know our Costco login.

$189 but they are on sale from time to time in the store.

maybe try a Sonos Move that can do both wifi and bluetooth, and you can lug it around as situation dictates
