Way to good to be buried in the Prime thread...

too good...  Apparently, this was originally released on Youtube Red. Hopefully it will get some run now that it's on a real streaming service.

I'm really enjoying it.  It's hard to describe.  It's quirky, violent, and funny and has some similarity to deadpool, but trades the irreverent sarcasm for more of a matter-of-fact approach.  The two leads are really good in this.

The first episode is a pretty good representation of the rest of the show.  Worth a try for sure.

I hope so too.  I think a 2nd season will really allow the writers to solidify some of the other characters.

I like it, but oddly I think the first episode was the weakest of the 4 I’ve watched.

it is. pilot was good, the rest is greatness.

It picked up steam on the 2nd and steamrolled to the finish.

I am halfway into this (ten half-hour episodes total), and I implore anyone reading this to check it out. No idea whether there will be a second season, but there should be.

I haven't read a word of this thread, but the show is funny as hell. It's about a couple of teenage troublemakers on a road trip quest to reclaim a '70s Firebird. Occasional cartoonish violence, lots of good swearing, and great dialogue.

Wayne would fit right in around here - Surly incarnate.

Been hearing really good things about this.   Will have to check it.   Thanks

Started this last night based on this thread. It’s unique.

I happened to pause it when mayhem’s kids were on screen so it showed the character names and the actors’ names.

the character names are teddy and Carl, and I assume they are named after Yastrzemski and Williams. Nice little detail there.

Finished it the other day - really a delightful little show.

I don't have any idea how likely a second season is, but I certainly hope one materializes...
