September 19Sep 19 Miami favored by 8 1/2 over the go gatas on Saturday Assume it’s been posted above but can’t find it, what are the Texas sections for the game coming up at Florida? Just interested in the lower levels kthx

The next guy is going to get a ridiculous contract to deal with that. Y'all should probably stop scheduling the likes of Miami and UCF. Those are not lay-ups. Who do you want for your 3 SEC rivals? September 19Sep 19 I won’t be surprised if it’s much worse than the spread. Small chance that this is a rally the troops, save Billy effort but more likely I think the team has given up.

Hopefully we keep our upcoming series with ND even though those years will be 11 P4 games. Florida is relatively easy for the SEC in that we have lots of rivalries which is one reason I'm so annoyed that OU keeps popping up as a potential permanent foe. Like we would be happy with 40% of the conference, why do us dirty? But they have a history especially with cancelling our games vs Auburn and forcing A&M in their place. 1) Georgia 2) Tennessee, Auburn, or LSU 3) Any of #2, South Carolina, or Kentucky Edited September 19Sep 19 by gatormarc

September 21Sep 21 It would be nice if these mythical SEC refs did something in our favor for once. Every Miami score was kept alive by a blatantly bad/missed call. We did get one in our favor when they blew a whistle and the guy broke from the pocket and scored.
September 21Sep 21 Florida has a good defense. If they don’t quit on Napier they will be a challenge in Gainesville.

They’ve played some horrifically overrated teams the past 3 weeks and lost to all of them. They have no offense. And I’d expect a 35-3 type of Texas win.

Get a jump on the crop of coaching candidates, e.g. Urban Meyer in 2004. 33 points combined in 3 games against FBS competition is a disgrace and cannot be tolerated in year 4 from an offensive coach that has never had a good season.

September 21Sep 21 Watched some of the game last night(had it on in the bar) and my God that gata first half was atrocious! Will Billy even be their HC when we play them in 2 weeks?
September 21Sep 21 The Gators will hire Jimbo Fisher and he'll turn their program around, I'm sure of it.

After the first 10 minutes I thought Florida was going to lose by 40, but they didn't give up and looked like the better team for stretches. Of course, Miami helped with that. With the money in this sport, we need nationalized, professional level refs. Like serious upgrade this shit.

September 21Sep 21 Gators definitely did not quit vs Miami. Definitely a great effort especially by Gator's defense...
September 21Sep 21 Popular Post Florida fans can take comfort in the fact that the least accurate prognosticator in history thinks Texas wins.
September 21Sep 21 Sun Belt Billy's Gators are all kinds of injured. They lost a starting DB, Dijon Johnson, to what is likely a torn ACL in the first quarter last night. They lost another guy getting regular snaps at one of the DB spots, dude named Bates, to a busted shoulder later in the game. They had 3 starting DLs out for the Miami game with serious injuries and lost another one in the 3rd quarter who couldn't walk off the field under his own power. Finally, the transfer WR, Sturdivant, left the game and never returned in the 3rd as well. They had a litany of injuries going into the game, so maybe this week helps them recover? Unlikely if SBB is still in charge. He's known for running tough, physical practices throughout each season, particularly in off-weeks.
September 21Sep 21 They will have Dallas Wilson, the true freshman WR likely when they play us and that guy is going to be a problem. That is of course if Lagway is able to throw the ball downfield.

The best DL for them, Caleb Banks, had a procedure done on his foot a few days ago and is out for an extended time.
September 21Sep 21 Florida team will be in "we must save our corch" mode. hopefully we push the Florida "save the corch" jihad to the following week for their game at aggy.

I know the guy was a big time recruit, doesn’t matter.

September 21Sep 21 I’m guessing it’s going to be between our game and the Vandy/Bama game for which one gets flexed to the night game.

September 21Sep 21 Florida has several very good receivers. But Billy likes to have them run really bad routes into each other.

I assume ABC has the rights to Miami/FSU right? That will almost certainly be the ABC primetime game. I'm guessing Bama/Vandy gets ABC 2:30 and we get the ESPN night game but guess we'll find out tomorrow.
September 22Sep 22 The week of the Florida game, ABC/ESPN also has FSU-Miami, Bama-Vandy, A&M-Miss State, and Georgia-Kentucky is locked in at 11 on ESPN. OU locked in at 3 on SEC. Guessing the FSU game will be 6:30 on ABC, Bama game 2:30 on ABC, A&M at 7 on ESPN, and Texas at 11 on either ABC or SEC network. Edited September 22Sep 22 by fellside

Florida-Texas was already announced as Flex (3:30-4:30 PM or 6-8 PM)

Do people even do a modicum of research before pulling something out of their ass and posting it? The game is 1,000,000% NOT going to be at 11:00
