November 23, 20205 yr 36 out of 36, although, to be fair, the only fried rabbit I ate was in China (at least they said it was rabbit).

November 25, 20205 yr 36/36. But as others have pointed out (I’m late to the party), some are definitely not strong Texas-origin things. And I can’t say I LIKE everything on the list. Just that I’ve had it. (TWSS).
November 25, 20205 yr Ya know, I’ve had tons of rabbit, but I can’t specifically say I’ve had fried rabbit. I assume I have, and it just wasn’t something I considered unusual so I didn’t make a memorable note of it. So either 35 or 36
November 25, 20205 yr 24, and I'm a picky eater. I had to think about the Homemake Ice Cream question. My grandmother had this bucket thing with a crank that you had to put rock salt into, so I'm saying "yes."That’s exactly what homemade ice cream is

December 2, 20205 yr I'd be n-1/n if you added cooter's very good additions to the list. I don't think that I have ever had dewberry cobbler. I would add further three items I haven't seen to the list: cabrito carne guisada carnitas

December 2, 20205 yr That's a really superb list. There are a few very good differentiators. Went through it just now with my daughter, and was pretty surprised how many of the non-alcohol items she was able to check off. Solid Willie Nelson level.
December 2, 20205 yr 36/36 plus everything (I think) in all the added lists, although I'm not sure what "King Ranch Casserole" is, and I've never had fried squirrel, that I know of. My addition: Allsup's burrito. As a kid, we used to hunt rabbits and squirrels on my grandfather's farm. Grandma would fry up the rabbit, but she wouldn't touch those "tree rats" with a ten foot ladle.
