November 26, 20205 yr I saw this for the first time a few months ago. Tom Hanks is probably my favorite actor of all time. This movie is not good. It’s meh, but has some scenes and lines that crack me up just thinking about them. The bathtub scene kills me. The pizza driver and accompanying song is used plenty when I make our kids pizza at the house.

November 26, 20205 yr When I was at UT they used to show this movie on late night tv called How I Spent My Summer Vacation with Peter Lawford and Robert Wagner. For some reason every time it came on my roommate and I would get high and watch it. I still have no idea what it’s about.

November 26, 20205 yr Speaking of Terence Hill... I got to watch this every other night for 8 weeks while underway.

November 26, 20205 yr Stayed up with some friends for the after-midnight movie in the mid 70s and watched this, severely messed with our heads especially since we grew up in a rural area. http://youtu.be/uOkQ_-XtwlA

I first watched it on HBO when I was 7 or so, and then I saw it again only a couple of years later, and 9 or 10-year-old me was disgusted with how terrible it was. I was embarrassed to think about how much I had liked it the first time around.

November 27, 20205 yr This movie was terrible but I loved it. Farmer kid goes to Dallas to buy an exotic car that ends to bring a POS. Hot car salesgirl tried to get him to cancel his wedding.
November 27, 20205 yr Not obscure but one of the most important films of anyone that grew up with TBS as one of the few TV stations available...

November 27, 20205 yr Man, Gotcha...saw that when it came out. With her movie accent and “yes, I am spy” attitude, I thought she was the sexiest woman I’d ever seen. And in her prime...I think I win that argument.
