program is a dumpster fire and coaches are douche but still should have stayed to mature.

  • Hey don't knock it. That strategy will get them to the Texas Bowl.

Not as bad a year as you are having on Surly.

the NFL needs to expand the roster to 60.  Just much talent left with no jobs and then teams get so thin with injuries. If the NBA can expand, why not the NFL? It's such shitty management.

That’s what the practice squad is for, and they only have to pay 20% of a rostered player.

Owners don't want to give up more money, and players don't want the existing share of the revenue to be spread further.

Hill has been ESPN's Best Available for about three rounds now.

Change the settings from rolling a joint to playing CB in the NFL

Are there any other concerns on Hill other than weed?

His sophomore tape isn't very good.

It’s amazing that Boyd may wind up being higher valued player by the NFL.

Ryan Switzer traded to the Raiders.

4th round pick in 2017... only worth a 7th round trade in 2018.... ouch

actually worth a 2016 2nd rounder, jihad ward

I’m a bit surprised that hercules mata'afa is still on the board...

I guess Dallas decided that they really didnt need much defense this year......

A damn long snapper is being drafted over HH or Poona.

11 Bama players drafted, 9 of which will struggle and disappear without the ability to use the roids to compete

oh fuck off McShay. The SEC was straight ass outside of 3 teams.

Don’t care, got paid-Bama

last year people loved that pick right? Did he have a bad year? wtf

Not as bad a year as you are having on Surly.

I figured Holton Hill would be gone by round 4. I saw a few mocks that had him going in the 3rd a month ago. I guess two straight years of multiple failed tests is going to cost him a million bucks.

A player who has never played a snap of football gets drafted before Big12 DL of the year. I hope CDC is starting to get the fuck out of this clusterfuck of a conference.

That’s more a problem with NFL FOs. A lot of them are still looking for jeans models more than guys who can actually play.

The Chiefs drafted Khalil McKenzie, who exclusively played DT in college and was a bust of a prospect, to play OG in the NFL.

Do none of these other guys have problems with weed?

They've even drafted a guy from Ferris State.

A school known primarily for their relief pitchers.

Well, 4 Longhorns (2018) is better than 1 (2017). Disappointed about Poona.

Poona is on the Seahawks draft board so if he goes undrafted he’ll get a shot.  At this point going undrafted may be better because you choose what team you go to.

Well ole' Holton might have some Guice-style "unreported incidents" because this is way more than just for some weed.

We're going to have more than 4 make rosters.  Poona and Hill will stick... assuming Hill gets his head out of his ass.  He's a 1st round athletic talent, no doubt.  He also has an UDFA head... he needs to fix that.

I honestly don't know how good Poona is for the NFL standard, but he's a hard worker and seems to have a great persona. But if the NFL has "character issues" with some questionable players, you to think that they would also Vault up a decently talented player who shows nothing but heart and effort.

Otherwise, it just seems like a meat market.  So don't patronize me with talk about "character".

Well, maybe there's a team out there that sort of once him but didn't want to spend a choice on him. Good luck working out for then via free agency.

What did or didn’t he do?  Would weed alone drop a player so far?

Yes, in spite of what seems like half the country legalizing, it's still illegal on the federal level and NCAA the NFL is drawing players from. Of course teams are willing to overlook something like that, but you have to be a near sure fire difference maker as player to make the risk worthwhile. In any case, we gotta be real about HH. He had a decent but not great Freshman year, horrible Soph slump and was on his way to a great year as a junior before being suspended halfway through the season. No combine invite, pretty sure he wasn't even at Texas pro day...who knows if he even stayed in shape?

He’ll be taking the spot of the B12 defensive lineman of the year....who wasn’t even drafted. Guess he has to start thinking about transferring again if he wants to get drafted.

May? It's all but certain now..

None of these players were drafted or not drafted because of what conference they played for.  JFC people.

Fing long snapper taken before Poona and Hill. Classic groupthink, The League labels them UDFA and they all run in the same direction.

That's the NFL summed up quite nicely.

i love my longhorns, and if I was connor williams I wouldnt trade the cowboys for a first round pic. for the rest? hhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

Ok. well the Punter rocks

Thinking...as in busting his ass on the field to get noticed, or transfer somewhere else that guarantees him a starting spot and still go as an UDFA?

Can you sign before the draft is over? Maybe it’s over, I’m on internet delay.
