Loved the guy.  As a child, he forever cemented my view of Italian-Americans everywhere, even if the show-runners had changed his name because they had too many Italians on the show already.  I always grew up thinking of him as Italian.

I wasn't nearly as big a fan of Laverne & Shirley as of Happy Days.  I think it was either more slapstick or just generally "loud" that Happy Days.

That said, it was still a part of my childhood, and I always kind of liked Lenny & Squiggy.

RIP.

The album "Lenny and the Squigtones" featured a then unknown guitarist by the name of Nigel Tufnel.

Same but the only characters that made the show worth watching were Lenny and Squiggy.   RIP
