For visibility, I didn’t see a thread other than making fun of Fitlump vs Jimmy Flannigan in NW Austin. City council seats 6 and 10. District 5 and at large seat as well on the Board of Trustees so everyone in AISD has a reason to show.

Early voting started Dec. 3rd and goes until the 11th. Only 23k votes so far according to Travis County site.

https://www.austinchronicle.com/elections/

Forty something pages worth of Kelly v. Flannigan -

For AISD District 5 Lynn Boswell doesn't have any kids going to school in the district she is looking to represent (District 5). While her kids are zoned here they are going to alternative/magnet schools outside of the district.

For me that is reason enough to not vote for her. Would rather have someone with some skin in the game in the district she is zoned to vs not.

When you guys who are hardcore DNC loyalists push back on people who say the Democrats are giant pussies, remember this.

FitLump, embarrassing absolute mess of a human being, who couldn't even get custody of her own daughter in a state where that's basically impossible, just won a City Council seat. Her opponent had unlimited ammo on her. Amateur porn, texts talking about fucking Lance Armstrong, the embarrassing Romeo Rose saga, and even her time here on Surly posting pictures of her tits.

Said opponent, in the face of being bullied by her white Supremacist friends, decided to take the high road and not deploy ANY of said knowledge publicly.

He lost.

There should have been billboards on Parmer and 183 with her nudes and whatever her most insane Surly post was, with an easy-to-remember URL (CrazyKelly.com or similar) that takes people to a web site outlining all of this. Democrats, for being educated and purportedly smart, are some of the dumbest people on Earth when it comes to knowing how to message and win.

It's hilarious, but also pathetic. Councilwoman FitLump. Lulz.

First time I've seen an elected official's tits, as I recall.

Shaggy is the center of the universe.

What starts here changes the world.

And not always for the better.

Usually not for the better.

Everyone i voted for today lost. Oh well.

Donna Shalala won't stop showing her jugs to people.

Wow.

Never thought I would use Keep Austin Weird to explain one of my many blind spots.

how did he lose this race?  I don’t care about the pics . . .  She loses in most modern cities with the goon footage alone. What has the news been covering?

Link to goon footage, please.  I saw the photo with the Proud Boys in front of City Hall -- was there more?
