LOL

So much for their tradition of up and coming guys.

que the JONESboro billboards.....they should put one in College Station just because

Anybody not named Saban and a handful of others are just basically raking in millions of dollars simply based on the market for football corches.

You can suck at an SEC school for a few years but still be a millionaire and then your college will give you a few more millions to walk away... so you go and chill, only for a smaller school to come calling and asking for your services... shit, you can live like a king in Jonesboro or any of these college towns with the money you make and bank.

Then if you get lucky with a few recruits at important positions and win more than expected, suddenly you're the hot name and get called up at the higher level schools, and now at much higher salary.  All the while, you've really not changed your system much nor made any other changes...because you're a corch and you're stubborn like a goat but you think you're the GOAT now and people at prospective schools treat you like one.

We all should give it a shot at corching! lol  Sure, the hours can suck and you can really become persona non grata in a town if you stink it up. but you become a 1%-er in all of America just like that.

I'll give it five games before they're hit with recruiting violations

At least he's collecting a check to show up and fail

He just wanted to come to Husky Stadium in mid-September next year.

Can't say I blame him.

Hey, fuck you.

Well shoot. I get such a kick out of having a bunch of former head coaches on the Alabama analyst staff.

And I’ve enjoyed watching him be a smug jerk to Tennessee fans after that game, all while they’re still paying him loads of cash.

Good luck, Butch. Hope Arkansas has enough bricks for you.

You can replace him with Malzhan.

What some of you seem to forget is that Butch Jones is a Champion of Life, whether that's on Saban's staff, Rocky Top, Miami, or in Jonesboogie.

Butch isn't that bad.  He's 84-54 as a HC.  8 bowls in 11 seasons.  Even Tennessee, where it didn't work out, he went 34-27.  Not great, but his predecessor went 15-21 and his successor is 16-18.

He did well taking over healthy programs at CMU and UC and keeping it going or improving.  Blake Anderson is leaving him a healthy program in Jonesboro.

This is a Sun Belt job we are talking about, anyway.

"The Major" (say it in Brent Musberger's voice) will indeed be Jones' OC

He will probably make a good sunbelt coach, win enough to get hired by another struggling p-5 program in a few years and wallow in mediocrity there as well.
