RIP-the greatest songwriter of my generation (Bob Dorough)

Featured Replies

He grew up in Plainview and went to UNT.

And I'm not even going to attempt to post a video.

Interjections (Hey!) show excitement (Yow!) or emotion (Ouch!).
They're generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point,
Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.

..Side note, my daughter's drama club school play this year was Schoolhouse Rock.  I was sitting there last week and couldn't help but smile at all the clever songs and all the memories that came flooding back.  I still can recite the Preamble to the word because of it.

R I P good sir

I learned so much from that guy.  He made a difference to a generation and most of us probably didn't even know his name.  I didn't.

I admit i wasnt familiar with him either till the Ticket discussed it this morning.  Read up a little on the guy, pretty interesting.  He got his start when a Mad Ave exec asked him to write a song to help his kid with math.  It took off from there.

This song is an earworm (in a good way) for me
