I am hearing Matt Campbell to Nebraska, done deal, AD already loading up the song "Signed Sealed Delivered" on his Spotify playlist for a big announcement soon after the OU game.

Uh-huh.... sure

Should have kept Solich.

Each replacement has been worse. Bo was better than frost as well.

Nebraska is a fly over state now. The glory days are gone. They can hope to be an Iowa every now and again.

Should have stayed in the B12 and not run away from big bad Texas.

Campbell is a good coach, not a retard.

I don't see Campbell taking that job. Imagine ISU with a bigger stadium and a fanbase that expected to compete for NC's; that's basically Nebraska at this point. The disparity between expectations and the reality of their situation is probably wider than any other program. In that sense, it's arguably the toughest job in the country.

Multiple?  Nice hot take, Beano

I’m still shocked that he outright said that they had to throw out their game plan vs. Illinois because they came out in a 4 man front and they were expecting a 3 man. Every fucking 8-man school in the state is better prepared than that.

Nebraska's last win against a team that finished the season over .500 was against a 9-6 win over Mich St (7-6) in November 2018?

Their last win against a ranked team was Oregon (#22) in September 2016?  They are 0-11 vs ranked teams since then?  Oof.

When they broke out the forward pass he really got flummoxed.

Yes, the difference between an odd and even front is bewildering.....for middle school coaches. I can't believe he admitted this during his post-game interviews.

Embarrassing

Remember Beano's prediction was at least 2 Heismans and at least 2 national championships. Unfortunately that fuckstick did beat Texas twice and got undrafted to the Oilers.

It's a trick General, they's two of them!

Cool. 22-30, Illinois, but really that last 6pts for NE was on a 4th and 4 at the Illinois 4 with 2:41 remaining. 22-30 looks better than 16-30, but not by much.

Now what about the defense? Last year's game in NE was very similar with a score of 41-23, Illinois. The defense was better, but not by much.

They should do this:

1. Hire a scumbag coach.  Lane Kiffin.

2. Bring back county scholarship program ala BYU.

3. Turn Lane loose for recruiting.

Then, they’ll be back.

But they’ll do this:

1.  Hire Josh Heupel.

2. Watch him get fatter.

3. Finish fifth in their division.

People have noticed Frost isn't wearing a wedding ring any longer.  Probably in fuck it mode about now.

Matches the fans feelings.

Has Nebraska blamed us  today for anything?

That one second put back on the clock for Texas in 2009 clearly caused a ripple in the time-space continuum that has wreaked havoc and chaos in the universe, particularly in Lincoln, NE.

Moose out front shoulda told ya

I was watching the other game on at the same time as the Illinois game, and saw Todd Graham has been head coach at Hawaii for a total of five games. For coach Todd Graham, that is a very long time to be at just one place. I think he would pick up and leave for any gig on the mainland.

As an MYF middle schooler in the late 70s, I remember SMU going around to a lot of the Methodist churches giving tickets away to Pony games.  My, my how the might Huskers have fallen.

gotta give em credit. Took a tough loss last week, and bounced right back and now hanging with a tough Fordham squad.
