  • A shit stain on the universe. Hypocrites.  Liars.  Helped create the instability in the Big 12, and then tried to pin the blame on someone else while they ran off to a paycheck and irrelevancy.

I didn't get past 30 seconds, but the opening line (You don't know where you're going, 'til you know where you've been) is likely a riff on a popular untrue story of the '95 Orange Bowl.  There was a bit of a QB controversy between Frazier and Berringer.  Frazier starts the game, is a little off, and throws a pick.  Berringer comes in, does a little better, but then goes out after some struggles.  Frazier comes back in.  Warren Sapp taunts him with "Where you been, Tommy?"  Frazier responds, "It's not where I've been, fat boy, it's where I'm going" pointing at the endzone.  Frazier denies the conversation ever happened, but it's still a fun story.

It's back... Coming this fall to a rivalry near you..!

Like 70% of those clips were of other teams.   You'd think if they were a rivalry they could have come up with more against each other.

49-18-2 is not much of a rivalry

Then what do you consider a "rivalry", only teams who are within a margin of a 15% difference in all time wins & losses..?

All rivalries are not equal, just as most teams are UT's rival, but UT sees OU as it's main rival, and OU only sees UT as it's rival...

In my mind a rival is someone competing for superiority in football, consistently.  Just because everyone gets up to play Texas doesn't mean its their rival.   Whoever wins or loses in any given year should impact something.

I understand a talking point of main rivals, or rivalries that most fans across America know about as UT-OU/ UM-OSU/ ND-USC/ 'Bama-Tenn/ Cal-SU/ FSU-Miami...

But there are good 2nd tier rivalries that might be bigger to one fanbase than the other, but still respected as USC-UCLA/ OU-NU/ UT-Arky/ Pitt-PSU/ UM-MSU, for example...

Cabbage and ground beef sandwiches sold through a chain restaurant also called Runza based in Nebraska (some Iowa and Kansas locations as well).

Only Osborne has higher cult status there

I actually like Nebraska fans. From a football knowledge stand point, they are arguably the most intellegent-- collectively.

From a football knowledge standpoint, "collectively" those idiots appeared to have no clue that 1 second was legitimately put back on the clock, so you're a complete moron.

Seems the fans feel the same:

It should never have even been a thought for Nebraska or Arkansas to look at earning more revenues while destabilizing rivalries with Oklahoma & Texas...

Now, for end of season/ Thanksgiving weekend both the Huskers & Razorbacks face a hohum opponent in Iowa & Missouri, with no real history... #RivalyOverRevenue

Nebraska's non-conference schedule in 2020:  Central Michigan; South Dakota State; and Cincinnati.

I don't think I've seen a more pussified non-conference schedule in my life.  Nebraska fans should be embarrassed by that shit.

The year they made the CFP, Washington played Rutgers, Idaho, and Portland State, all at home.

This isn't a defense of Nebraska, but this phenomenon of weak noncon scheduling is more prevalent than it should be.

There's at least a chance Fickell has Cincy looking respectable by then.

I don't disagree with your observation about weak nonconference scheduling being widespread, but Nebraska's 2020 schedule ratchets that up to a level of embarrassment that we seldom, if ever, see.  Personally, I like to see a three-game noncon schedule that consists of one cupcake, one middling/respectable team, and one top-level/elite program.  I think Texas typically falls within those parameters.

I think most premier P5 teams now use this method, as it helps give credibility during evaluations or whatnot by the CFP committee...

The blue blood P5 teams that play in conferences with 9-game schedules do, anyway.

Yep, you are right and a certain conference needs to step their game up *cough, (SEC)...

Don’t be shocked if we go 8-4 this year. Lots of offensive weapons.

Corn holes cried and lied about Texas, but I don’t remember word one of crap about their leaving the B12 from Frost. I would not mind seeing them own some B1G schools the way we did them.

Ya but we only won 4 last year. Frost has had to flip the roster and completely change the culture.

I didn't realize Iowa had hammered Nebraska that bad under the old regime, time for Frost to put an icy chill on the Hawkeyes wings..!

I can tell you about Nebraska. That entire state will go down on their knees for just a sniff of a playoff spot. The current generation has never witnessed a Husker championship.

Texas is no different. 2005 was a long time ago.

Friend of mine played for the Jets when Frost was there playing safety.

Went out with them one night in Manhattan.

Frosts only game was to ask the waitress what she usually drank and ordering that.

His bullshit was rather thin.

Nice enough guy. Not a killer.
