September 21, 20241 yr Matt Rhule is 2-20 against ranked teams. Yeah, most of his teams were in a rebuilding phase, but damn.

October 20, 20241 yr I was wondering if this guy was still doing videos. I have to respect someone who stays a fan through the lean times. But Nebraska football may end up killing this guy.
October 23, 20241 yr How does a P5 offensive coordinator not know what a good yards-per-play average is? Mind-boggling. d0kdaS4mgalODqe5.mp4
October 26, 20241 yr Nebraska got exposed last week against Indiana. I think Rhule is a very good coach so he'll coach them up after that, but going on road second week in a row into Columbus with Ohio State coming off a win-turned-loss with a bye week to let that anger soak in and set their sets on taking it out on Nebraska, this is going to be a thorough beating. Love it when Nebraska gets rolled. Fuck Nebraska. Also, dotting the i is the most overrated football thing I've seen first hand. Literally "that's it?".

Nebraska going into Columbus is going to be like tossing an armless crab into a tank with hangry octopus
October 26, 20241 yr I guess my joy at Nebraska sucking will have to be replaced by my joy at Ohio State getting jumped by Texas this week for playing like the 24th ranked team instead of the 4th ranked team. Props to NU for showing up big.
October 26, 20241 yr If Nebraska wins, you have to drive Ryan Day out to the airport and tarmac him right?

October 26, 20241 yr Ohio State is impressive in the sense that they have managed to trick a lot of people into thinking that they are an elite program by beating up on Rutgers and Purdue every year.
October 26, 20241 yr While Ohio St may not be elite, they still have a lot of talent and this shows Matt Rhule can coach. He has turned Nebraska around fast.

Ohio State is overrated every single year, so it isn't a surprise that they're overrated this year, too. However, Rhule is indeed a very good coach.
October 26, 20241 yr Agreed on Rhule, and I think Ohio State is underbaked too. Will Howard does not wow, and they're not running it well enough. Thought Oregon was a blip, but maybe UO and tOSU are not as good as rankings suggest. Good game right here. Edited October 26, 20241 yr by The Earl of Texas

When I see how well Ohio State recruits every year at many positions I always think they will walk thru the B1G. But CTJ pointed out many times that they have some positions where they always recruit poorly and that comes back to bite them every year.

Not the biggest Nebraska fan in the world but if they're beating Ohio State they're doing the Lord's work

November 5, 20241 yr I thought I was supposed to marvel at the substance of Matt Rhule and how he is a coach on the sideline? Rhule is a fraud. He is fucking up Nebraska completely.

I need, not want, need a team to have Holgerson and Petrino coaching together and a reality series that documents their off field behavior, together. That's reality TV I'd actually watch. November 7, 20241 yr Quote He’ll work with the offensive staff in a role that will evolve as the season goes on. you don't want to rush things heading into your 10th game of the season.
November 11, 20241 yr What could go wrong ??? 😎 Matt Rhule and Nebraska are handing play calling duties to Dana Holgorsen The unconventional decision comes six days after Holgo initially joined the staff. Doug Samuels. 5 hours ago Dana Holgorsen, who started the season on staff at TCU before Matt Rhule selected him six days ago to help get the Huskers offense back on track, is taking on some additional responsibilities. Less than a week after joining the staff, Rhule has decided to take the play calling duties from Marcus Satterfield and hand them over to Holgorsen for the remainder of the year. "It's unique, but it's probably what's needed. It's the right thing," Rhule shared as the Huskers prepare to take on USC coming out of their bye week. Rhule would go on to clarify that while the move was made initially for the short-term, he'd like the veteran coach to remain with the Huskers as their offensive play caller in 2025. The unconventional move comes after Rhule defended Satterfield amid Nebraska's losing streak. Under Satterfield, the Huskers offense ranked 100th into their bye week, and during the week off jumped to 99th nationally at a paltry 23.6 points per game. Holgorsen's Air Raid roots are well documented, and his offense continued to evolve during his time leading both West Virginia and Houston, but still maintains it's roots in the Air Raid. His approach will be very different than the 11 and 12 personnel run and play action centered approach by Satterfield and company, but exactly how different it will be remains to be seen as he'll have just two weeks from arriving on campus to calling plays in a Big Ten game for the first time.
November 11, 20241 yr Lulz, Rhule appears to be in panic mode. Bringing in Holgorsen as OC always works out, just ask Bill Stewart.

This is absolutely a panic move. Programs like Neb aren't supposed to be pulling guys out the recycle bin 10 games in to the season. Not sure how you spin or sell this to recruits. Also, didn't realize Rhule is 5'5" 220lb. That's one short portly dude.
