September 13, 20187 yr And not to forget, the last tilt between the Bugeaters & the Burglars, back in 2010 for the XII Championship game:
September 14, 20187 yr Texas seems to be missed by the Bugeaters: As well as wanting to play Notre Dame: Edited September 14, 20187 yr by kopp0e
September 14, 20187 yr They're just trying to stay in the top 10 win list by beating the other lame ducks in the same boat. however, I'm smart enough to realize, that much like back in the 90's....it doesn't matter how good the Miami Dolphins (Nebraska) get, they're never gonna be able to beat the fucking Bills (Texas) Edited September 14, 20187 yr by mulletpelini
September 15, 20187 yr Crazy pick. Wrestled around with it for what seemed like forever. Sloppy start Edited September 15, 20187 yr by Landomatic
September 15, 20187 yr When Nebraska fumbles, they really fumble. They caught a huge break there. BTW, Troy's helmets are slick AF.

September 15, 20187 yr 2 minutes ago, mulletpelini said: helluva run. this 10-0 feels much different than 14-0 last week. fuck Having no Martinez will do that.

September 15, 20187 yr just saw the highlight of the troy return, that return man must be the biggest guy on their team. he's bigger than most of corn's players that were on the field for that play
September 15, 20187 yr good chance that dude will play on Sundays, he's a fucking DB. Returned 4 TD's last year.
September 15, 20187 yr Slightly off topic, remember when FSU was playing for the MNC seemingly every year, often against Nebraska? They're losing 20-0 to Syracuse right now.
September 15, 20187 yr All my clients who turned down free tickets to this game to stay in the field knew what they were doing. As as an aside it was the height of hubris by Frost to not to recruit another scholarship QB this year.

September 15, 20187 yr Oh my God. I couldn't believe my eyes. The good news is there is no way next season can be worse.
September 15, 20187 yr I wanna laugh so bad but our train wreck is just as bad and Troy would probably beat us too.
September 15, 20187 yr I like you mullet, that's why I'm going to kill you last. Condolences on the game, still think Frost will improve the Corn. Apparently this stuff takes time. We've been working on it for about a decade.

September 15, 20187 yr Things have changed so much since Corn played their annual One game schedule in the Big 8 against OU.
September 15, 20187 yr It was really, really stupid to hitch their wagon to the Martinez horse. He missed his entire senior year of HS with an injury, and I’d be shocked if he ever plays an entire year in college without getting hurt. Just clearly one of those injury-prone guys made of glass.

Just clearly one of those injury-prone guys made of glass. It’s not like Frost kicked Gebbia off the team. I get that recruiting current players to stick around may be the most important task of a new coach, and one that Frost has not been successful at QB....Tanner Lee forgoes his final year (understandably), Pat O’Brien leaves after falling to 3rd string in the spring, and then Gebbia transfers after narrowly losing the job to Martinez in fall practice. I’ll fault Frost for not convincing these kids to ride the bench behind a freshman, but not because he planned on this depth chart.
September 18, 20187 yr Gotta figure Gebbia is kicking himself right now. There were a few fans that really got upset about it. I don't look at it that way. You don't want to compete, gtfo.

You don't want to compete, gtfo.On the other hand, I’m glad the coaching staff drove to Millard in 1999 to coddle a disappointed, but talented, teenage QB who found himself second on the depth chart. Kids don’t always react the way you would like, and it’s up to coaches to guide them for the good of the team and the player. And, frankly, I was more excited about Gebbia in this system. I’d rather see a quick dealer than another electric runner at QB. Because even with best of them - Armstrong, Taylor Martinez - it’s hard to stay that fast throughout the season. This team has enough weapons; we needed the quick dealing QB to use them. (Note: I’m not criticizing the decision to go with Martinez. I didn’t see them in practice. It’s just that if they were relatively equal, Gebbia’s strengths made me more hopeful.)
