Best logo/colors in football (non-UT edition) vs. a fun MWC school on the blue turf? Fuck yes.

Rooting for Tulane! Head Coach used to be at Sam Houston and has done some good things with their program. They’ve played up to their competition this year greater than other years, kind of like UTSA has this year.

I think that they’re excited to be in a Bowl, with a winning record - compared to those SEC “buy in” bowl matchups.

Oh good one of the announcers is consistently pronouncing Nevada wrong. That's not going to be annoying.

Yup! It's why they include the pronunciation mark in their tourism ads as a little easter egg.

But it's lifted from Spanish, where it is pronounced with a long A.

It's one thing from a bunch of Americans to butcher the pronunciation of a foreign word. It's another for them to take pride in it, and actively push people to say it wrong.

Yeah, but Spanish-speakers pronounce San Antonio correctly all the time and no one gives them shit for it.

Nevadans, on the other hand, make it a point to defend their lazy mispronunciation. W for example, who knows Spanish, said it with the long A and they threw a fit.

Should we get mad at India for turning vinha d'alhos into vindaloo, too?

Also the UNR RBs are some real muscle nuggets. Love to see it.

I was thinking Nevada would win this, but damn Tulane is looking bad...all the worse with Nevada making a lot of mistakes starting with the failed 4th and goal on the first drive

I think the Nevada field goal kicker had to wear an Idaho Potato as a kicking shoe
