Probably a good time to remind people it's not just the wedding you're arranging for , it's a yearly anniversary.

My step-granddaughter is marrying a sooner...during the freaking TX/ousux game!!!!!  I told my family I would NOT be there.  My husband told me I did not have a choice in the matter.   I am wearing Burnt Orange even though I was told it was not one of my color options.  I asked if the game would be on at the reception and was told there would be NO TV in bar.  Screw them.

I'm thinking of disowning my stepson as he is obviously a terrible parent.

Sounds like you need a new husband (or at least a viable substitute) but ima need some pics to know for sure.

Welcome to the site!!!!!!

At a wedding now but the hosts were kind enough to install a giant TV in the cocktail hour room. My kind of family

A woman I know got married during football season and during the Texas game that day (her parents went to Texas).  At the reception, a bunch of us were down in the locker room of the country club watching the game on TV.  Apparently, her dad found out and had the TV moved up to the reception room, where we proceeded to watch the rest of the game while the wedding festivities went on in closer proximity, I assume.

The literature states that couples that get married during the broadcast of a college football game have a 40% higher chance of their marriage ending in divorce than couple who do not.

Holds true in the above-referenced scenario (and how!).

File for divorce.

Had a wedding to go to today at 3……… outside…..

was sitting in balls soup

I went to one in Toronto last weekend. Missed the whole UTEP game, but wouldn’t say I missed much.

At my nephew’s wedding. He asked me to officiate the ceremony. Started at 5 so I am about to leave.

You could have been out in less than one minute doing it this way.

Fuck that wedding. A friend of mine was getting married on Texas OU weekend in 2021. I said fuck you because I had tickets for the game so I went to the game with my brother and one of my uncles. Back in 2008 one of my cousins was getting married during you guessed it Texas OU weekend. My mom had tickets for the game, so what did we do? That’s right, we skipped the wedding and went to the game. Short story, Texas won and my cousin is divorced. I will forever stand by my decision. Your husband sounds like he has no clue how football works. If I were you, file for divorce, or fake sick and stay home and skip the wedding, get drunk and enjoy the game.

Not if you divorce within 11 months.
