I sat out on the patio last night and it was crazy comfortable for a July evening. This must be karma for freezing my ass off without propane for a couple days and the mental anxiety related to preventing broken pipes.

July 16, 20214 yr Author So does this summer weather mean we can expect another week in the winter without power and using melted snow to flush our toilets? I mean, if my pipes hold up again, I might accept that tradeoff.

July 16, 20214 yr Wait, the forecast is 26.8 inches of rain just south of Tyler over the next 10 days without a hurricane camping out? In July? wtfIt’s a possible scenario based on the data the Euro weather model uses. It is now 9 days out so of course it remains to be verified. It is by no means an actual forecast, but it can be indicative of an extreme rainfall event somewhere and sometime in the future. It is something to be watched over the next few days to see if the patterns setup the way the models suggest they might.
