They really just tried to have Tuf Borland cover DeVonta Smith. The Ohio State DC had Alabama and the over.

what would the score be if Texas played Bama this year? Jesus...

friends sleep GIF

Bama has exactly twice as much offense than Ohio State. 366-183

This is nice if only to listen to Herbie while he's having to choke this down instead of his normal OSU ball gargling.

Absolutely fucking hilarious if you think Joshua Moore is as good as DeVonta Smith

Moore is no where close to Smith. They should never be compared

No shit, but he's the most similar type of player. And he's certainly good enough to do some similar things against defenses like the Kansas schools or Okie Lite.

now that is targeting.

Identical

nope

DeVonta Smith is a Heisman winner so I'm not trying to compare the two as players, but the way Sark gets him open around the LOS makes me excited to see what he can do with Jordan Whittington.

With the caveat that we’ve never seen Whittington fully healthy, Dixon may be the most comparable in terms of speed/fluidity in the open field.

Ohio State is just so rudimentary on defense. You like what Sark is doing but literally anyone could do this to them with Bama’s roster.

so why does tOSU stay in base defense?

We don't have 5 good DB's.

don't think I've seen a better WR performance in the title game.

It's like watching Vince again.  He even has the gliding running style where it doesn't even look like he's trying to run fast.

Don’t think Fields looks at all like an overall number 1/2 pick in the draft. At all.

Correct. He's more comparable to Adam Thielen or Michael Thomas

Can we please stop trying to find who our “similar” player to Smith is? He’s one of the greatest college receivers of all time, we have nobody in his stratosphere.

Ohio State's defense seem like they suck

Pretty easy to get though the big 10, but they did stop Clemson somehow. I think alabama is just that good dude

Snoozefest. No real reason to keep watching.

You don't want to keep chugging some SarkoolAID?

Bama doesn’t want to double dip or triple dip... the want the whole damn ice cream store...

Damn.  I guess Notre Dame was better than we thought.  Held Bama to 31.

ACCACCACC

Herbie is crestfallen.

delicious

He’s choking up, lol

Smith and Waddle at the same time. Maybe we can have Jake and Jordan at the same time.

Not sure it will work....4.3 guys compared to 4.5-4.6 guys.

I still don’t get it.  Why is Justin Fields still a supposed #2 pick?  Because the experts pegged him as one two years ago and they’re too stubborn to change course?

The J-E-T-S’ gonna set themselves back another decade come April.

Live betting is up to 23.5.

That fumble to set up Ohio State with a short field TD is the only thing keeping this from being an epic asskicking, and that’s only temporary.

Absolutely. Bama was no doubt going to drive the length of the field to score. Ohio St outside of that has shown zero resistance. None. And this was a defense that looked damn good coming in and shut down Clemson. This is how good Bama is on offense.

Even the 5th worst DB is faster than that LB right???

He looks like he's just Dwayne Haskins or Blake Sims 2.0

has a receiver every had 400 yards in a game? go get it Smith!

Felt like Jordy Nelson did against us....Multiple times. lmao.

Looking like 49-17 after the 1st drive of the 3rd quarter

Moore isn’t the best route runner like Smith is. To be fair, not many players to compare Devonta to. Perfect combo of speed, route running, and even a decent blocker.

Tom would let the clock run out. Saban wants to score with 50 seconds left.  Diff between winner and losers

So we need more speed. Hopefully Sark starts recruiting for speed
