January 3, 20214 yr Already saw one person on Twitter say that this game should count towards the Texas/aggy rivalry. Disgusting.
January 3, 20214 yr Seriously Jimbo plays mindnumbing fucking football Edited January 3, 20214 yr by texifornia

January 3, 20214 yr Lol, what an idiot. Escapes the sack just to let them swarm him again instead of throwing it away
January 3, 20214 yr Don't know why it took them till falling behind to start playing well, but a 24 point 4th quarter has got to be in the running for an Orange Bowl record.

January 3, 20214 yr UNC was well coached all night, but handing off that deep on the 4th down play is just stupid. But teams doing it all the time.

January 3, 20214 yr Well, I think the Aggies have answered the question about whether or not they belonged in the playoffs. Haha. Announcer says this may be greatest Aggie team ever. No conference championship. No conference championship game. Bowl victory over ACC also ran. Fuck aggy.
January 3, 20214 yr UNC qb is why they had that basket weaving major they got in trouble for. What a 2-cent brain.

January 3, 20214 yr This 4th qtr is like a list of my football pet peeves. Can't stop the run in an obvious running situation. Can't even attempt a pass longer than 10 yards during the 2 minute drill. (UNC went four downs without trying one)
January 3, 20214 yr I dislike aggy as much as the next horn, but props to them this season. Congrats on ur best season in 80 years, but fuck em otherwise

January 3, 20214 yr So a Mack Brown team goes 8-4, can’t beat their rival in their conference (Clemson) and loses a bowl game. I don’t miss that at all even after living through the Strong and Herman years.
January 3, 20214 yr Weird, the announcers weren't going on and on every other play about the UNC players who were out. I wonder why.

The "NY6" wasn't a thing until the CFP started. So no shit this is technically their first NY6 ever. If you aren't counting the Cotton Bowl because it wasn't a BCS bowl in 2012 then their last "premier" bowl wins (whatever you want to call it) are as follows: 1987 Cotton 1985 Cotton 1967 Cotton 1940 Cotton 1939 Sugar So this is the 6th "big one" in their history (although I would probably count 2012 as their 7th) There's also this fun bit of miserable aggy history: And if you were wondering, Texas has 16. 18 if you count BCS-era Cotton Bowls.
