In his years at U Dub the student section had a song “I bark for sark” that progressively became more loaded with drinking references as it became obvious he was drunk 24/7 on the job

Jim Ed Brown’s original was a standard for me and a few of my SA HS buds 40+ years ago. We didn’t have much money, so we’d start in the parking lot before we entered the charging establishment. Three beers in 2:15 was a good way to get a buzz going.

Not to mention the university sponsored keggers at The Union at the beginning of each semester. They did that when I was a Freshman in 79-80, but I don’t recall those by the time I was a Senior.
