How do you think this is helpful? Not being a jerk, just asking y'all to keep your shit together and use common sense. In any event, I know for a fact that nothing ever happens with Texas until a

He could have if he isn't. Play devil's advocate and tell us why you feel about this guy's overall approach to his recruitment and how that either translates to the next level or doesn't matter.

so he like kevin banks level and going to be a difference maker as a freshman?

He is possibly a Banks-level talent, but the o-line room that he will be walking into next year will be so much stronger than what Banks entered in 2022 that Baker may not be a day one starter his freshman year.

it’s obvious, but this is how you become Bama / Georgia.

it’s so wonderful to have coaching that believes

Baker is going to push at left tackle. He is the best tackle prospect in the country.

Is Carter still scheduled to OV this weekend?  I know it's been mentioned what Freese has told Auburn commits, but that offense has looked like a steaming pile of monkey crap so far.

As of Gerry on the IT Live just a bit ago, yes.

No, he isn't going to push anything at left tackle. He'll compete at right tackle, along with Williams, Goosby, and maybe Agbo.

IMO Goosby will be groomed this year and next to take over at LT when Banks goes pro. Dude is legit.

Here's his Junior HUDL for anyone interested. I'm not a "WATCH TEH TAPPPEE!!" guy but, god damn, this dude moves like someone half his size:

From my VERY amateur perspective, I don't think he's quite as talented as Banks, but there's absolutely ZERO shame in that and he still looks like an absolute monster. As someone else pointed out, continuing to get guys like this is how you become Bama/UGA. I am beyond stoked to get his commit

Lol. Look out, Kelvin Banks. You're on notice

So does Baker push Big Cam next year at RT?

I think cam gets RT and baker gets cam’s swing tackle spot next year. Then they both start the year after- unless cam feels the need to go pro asap.

He was recruited as a RT. Those guys go in the first round too. If he wound up at LT, things have gone wrong with the roster management at some point.

Its crazy to think a dominant mf’er like Banks will be back again next yr!!!!

Lol, people are forgetting that Banks is a once in a decade O-Tackle.

Got to play three years before you’re draft eligible, so he’ll be back next year.

Nah.  RT will be Cam Williams next year. We aren’t in desperate enough straights to need him to come in and start like we did Banks.

One in two decades for us, but yeah I get what you’re saying. 🤘🏼

Williams, Goosby, Agbo, and now Baker with an outside shot at Weston Davis and DeAndre Carter. Not to mention Campbell, Umeozulu, Cruz, Kibble, Chatman, Kirkland, Stroh, Cojoe, Hutson, and Robinson - and they're all being coached and developed by Flood. Talk about a First World Problem. This OL is going to be absolutely filthy for years. We could have Vondrell McGree, Antwon Cobb, Tristian Houston, Kyle Porter, Danny Young, or Toneil Carter runnning behind them and probably still average more than 5 ypc. Hell, post-injury Kevin Shorter could probably get 4 or even 4.5. Instead, we've got or are getting Brooks, Baxter, Gibson, Clark, and even guys like Blue and Red (who I would desparately like to see get more carries, btw)

Someone hit the nail on the head: this is how Bama and Georgia were built.

edited to point out that I'd like to see more Savion Red

Who would be the next up after Banks?

They’d probably flip Jones to LT and put in Williams at RT.

Better than the future first round pick and likely All American on our roster? You can do better than this. Or maybe this is your ceiling.
