April 16, 20187 yr I don't get why they can't make the gas tanks on the same side for every vehicle. I would guess at least part of it is because not everyone drives on the same side of the road. Which then raises the question...why don't we all drive on the same side of the road? Also, I'm assuming there are some design/engineering reasons behind some of the gas filler placements.

Regardless: the answer is simple and the auto company who does this will get my money: why hasn’t an auto company put tank access on both sides of the car? But really, there are packaging requirements and mandates as to where the filler can go, and that results in the filler neck typically being on the opposite side of the exhaust.

April 17, 20187 yr I once owned a early 80's Chevy Suburban "Trailering Special" that had gas tanks on both sides. They were needed. Sorry, not sorry.
April 17, 20187 yr I have two fords, an explorer and an F150, and they have the filler on opposite sides. I forget which is which about half the time.

April 17, 20187 yr When I have to buy birthday presents for friends and family with 1-2 year old kids. And attend a party. Last weekend, I had to watch a 1 year old try to grab the gift out of a bag for about 5 minutes while everyone was commenting on how cute she was. She was not interested in the toy at all, but did try to eat the gift bag.

April 17, 20187 yr I don’t get the gas tank conundrum. There’s an arrow on the fuel gauge that tells u which side it’s on.

Basically I don’t want to get to a gas station and look like a dumbass.

April 18, 20187 yr Travis County tax assessments. Doubled our land value since last year, but I have this odd feeling if we get them to adjust the land value, the structure value is going to jump to make up for the difference. Oh, and our fuckwad neighbors that rent their house out, but have a homestead and other exemption on the property, cutting their tax bill in half.
