I don't like electric toothbrushes. I don't want to feel like I'm in the dentist's chair every time I brush. Regular toothbrush, floss and mouthwash FTW.

Take your Sonicare Ultra 5000 V-4 Lithium and put it in your ass.

it’s really not so bad.  the bristles can cause some irritation, though.

BOOM. That one wins. I paid WAAAAAY too much for those things for 10% of them not to open.

People who pull through the angled parking spaces and are facing the wrong way.

Get fucked.  I didn’t park 300 yards from the door to have to back out and have some fucktard on their phone hit me because they were trying to drive up to the front of the lot and wait 3 minutes for Maude and Pearl to load their groceries into their car and get a “good spot”

so do you pull out forward and drive down the row the wrong way?  because if you do you are pure trash.

No. I pull all the way through so I can turn out of the row going the proper direction

I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing.

From the pharmacist perspective, I hope you were pissed off at your insurance for not offering your independent pharmacy a contract at a rate that they could at least break even with.  The lack of knowledge around how badly the PBMs are screwing over both independent pharmacies and the general public is infuriating.  It should be a huge scandal, but no one cares because it is so complicated to understand how.

I for one think you should start a thread and begin to educate some of us.

Electric can be much more effective for those doing it right.  That said i prefer to use my non electric for a second wash and mainly for my tongue.

I would technically be parked “going the wrong way” on an aisle, but I’m really going to turn and exit going the proper way.

Out there is fine. Up front on one way rows is where you shouldn’t pull through. This is what brought on my post. Hell, out back where you’re talking about is Thunderdome imho.

The funny thing is I’m often already in the store by the time slapdick is parked while they were waiting for Maude and Pearl.  It’s just “so far for them to walk”

#10174

On the left is what I’m referring to. You should not pull through those. dbbfca7c35e95e0da965624d1da80597.jpg
Also what really brought on my post is in the angled parking lot someone pulled through the painted island under the right hand car and parked in spot #1 on the right. Then they weren’t able to leave without 7 point turning

I’ll make one pass. If I don’t find one near a buggy return (entirely different issue) I’ll park out back near a return.

The new ad campaigns celebrating our “sheroes” (even über-politically correct Apple spellcheck hates that word). AARP and some others are running with this nonsense.

I watched too many ads the other day. I'm having a hard time dealing with how utterly stupid this country is becoming.

Is this an age thing? Has everyone always been this dumb?

Of course spellcheck hates that word. It's not a fucking word. There already is a word for that - "heroines". Or are we concerned about offending opiate junkies - the people least likely to be offended by anything on the planet?

at least they cut off the subtitle of the story, "Then Men Who Built America:  And the Women they Abused, Degraded, and Cheated On."

Think of the nameless women married to these guys, we never learned a thing about them in school.  And I'm sure the wealth and luxury was nice, but they were probably treated like shit and nothing more than ornaments for political events, never really loved nor respected.  And then I think of Mackenzie Scott, a creative writer worth $60bn.  She'll be famous for centuries.

Okay, back to trivial shit.  My daughter got up early to make pumpkin pies with mommy.  My whole downstairs smells delicious.  But it makes me surly that I fucking hate the way pumpkin pie tastes.  Smells great, tastes like feet.  But I'm so proud of her, I'm gonna eat three pieces tomorrow.  And choke it down with lots of wine.

who’s to say they didn’t respect their wives?  some of them were probably assholes.  and some of them weren’t.

I mean, if they weren't named, how could we learn about them? Seems like their parents really missed out on an opportunity here by not filling out their birth certificates.

That's my point---It's just a testament now to the "women behind the men" these days.  I know a lot about Melinda Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Astrid Menks, Susan Dell, Prescilla Chan, et. al.  Not because I seek it out but because they're constantly in the news.  I don't know if it's their PR teams, or the media insisting upon them, or them insisting upon themselves. I appreciate their dedication to philanthropy but I don't know why they're constantly popping up.  It's annoying.  Then I read that list of the 5 turn of the century industrialists who built America, and I don't know a single one of their wives.  Not that I need to, but it's just interesting how in 100 years we went from not giving a shit about them or their likely contributions to their husband's empires to now we have to celebrate these women and name schools after them.

Ask a Women's Studies major who Melinda Gates is and you'll get a rundown of her philanthropy, scientific contributions, etc. (again, all well deserved).  Ask that same major who Sally Ride is and you'll get a puzzled look.  /rant

Trivial thing that pisses me off---when certain channels that run Seinfeld in syndication will cut off the last little joke at the end so they can squeeze in more ads.  Sure those dangling jokes were usually unrelated to the plot of the show, but nobody was watching for the fucking plot anyway!

You know the name of all of those women because they are good at spending their husband's money.

I know you didn’t say the yard crew is Hispanic so No racist, but our corner store is always busy in the mornings with Hispanics. My wife went this morning for drinks and asked why they were there again this morning. I said they were probably still working. Pretty shitty they can’t get one day.
