The day I retired I set an auto reply that said something like "As of EOB today I will be retired.  If you expect me to reply to an email after 10:00 am today, you will be disappointed."  At the 3:00

I hate the people that ignore it when they have the right of way and try to wave me through first, it just fucks up the system and delays everyone

Doesn’t necessarily make me surly, but I notice an increasing number of coworkers (almost always foreign-born) talking on their phones while grinding out a shit in the stall. That would make me surly as fuck if I were on the other end of the call…

Petty childish fire fighter intentionally turned the hose on, aimed it at the field, and flooded the field because he has a small penis…and likely truck nuts.

Guaranteed it’s a jacked up F250 or Gladiator with all the tricked out stuff like rooftop tent, etc.

Truck got hit by a BP HR. If you’re close enough to get hit, don’t park there.

Supposedly it was the fire captain keeping it real by dousing centerfield. Anyway, their PIO did the non-apology apology.

Meathead jerkoffs…

Team should start taking BP standing on 2nd base and see how many vehicles they can hit at the fire station

Firefighters do not get enough hate. It's easy to shit on police because they're in the news so much for arresting grandmas and shooting dogs but behind the scenes these fuckers are like the mafia. If only people knew how political a public sector union can get it would shock the hell out of the general public.

Why the fuck are you in the bathroom when someone else is fumigating the room with their feces?

Break time.

Some idiot in my company opened a file they shouldn’t have, and we now have a massive data breach on our hands.

I worked a few hours yesterday and everything was working. I just tried logging on to my account using my laptop, iPad, phone. All nope. Password is incorrect. Can’t send remind, can’t reset it either.

If IT fixes it somehow, they’ll have to help 4000 people reset their passwords. Might as well call in sick because tomorrow is going to be completely unproductive.

Shut down my organization for 6 weeks two years ago. And we were fully updated on IT security. It’s bad stuff.

Wow. We have a $700M project due in < 2 weeks. It’s a private project, so hopefully the developer will be more understanding.

Not saying it 100% they’re to blame, but 99.999% sure they’re to blame.

We got ransomwared a couple years ago. Shut down our whole company for 3 weeks and we are a public company. Had to wipe and reconfigure laptops for all 5,000 employees.

Then Covid hit the next month.

Good times!

Well, my plan of taking the kids to Knott's Berry Farm fell through. The geniuses in IT got us back and running. Womp womp.

We live in a two adult - ADHD house - no meds - it’s a fucking beat down some times. I have successfully adapted with some near OCD rituals but my wife not so much. She can’t find the sunscreen sitting on the counter while she stares at it. I have rigid places for many things that once upon a time were lost in special places. Keys always go here, sunglasses always go there, take my meds at the same time in my morning routine so I don’t have to ask if I have taken them later and not remember, when I take my meds I put the bottles on that side of the sink, after taking today’s supplements I move them to the back and put tomorrow’s in front. My list of memory / don’t forget rituals goes on and on and on.

When you're cleaning your glasses and the cloth shifts ever so slightly, causing you to wipe your bare thumb across the lens, making a whole new smear to try and clean.

Can't debark, gotta sit on the fucking plane for two hours because IT can't get the system running? Unless the plane catches fire, it doesn't get a whole lot worse... or maybe if they run outta "beverages" or the restrooms start overflowing.

The new version of the weather channel app is so glitchy. Half the time or takes 1 or 2 minutes to even open.

Thanks for the tip not to update.

I’ve noticed a very annoying trend. For lack of a better term, I’ll just call it “Safe Abuse”. I’m seeing women under the age of ~30-35 constantly complaining that they don’t feel “safe” over some plain vanilla encounter/issue. It’s gotten ridiculous and SNL needs to do a skit on it. That would turn these little cream puffs into the Karen’s of the 2020’s.

Your dismissive attitude leaves me feeling a little unsafe. Reported.

That's the beauty of being a silent shitter. Nobody knows I'm taking a shit while talking to them.

I flush as many times as possible if someone is on the phone next to me

Just remember to mute when you flush. Had someone do that to me. I just laughed and laughed.
