Although you know what I'm realizing - he does a good job letting the broadcast breathe. It's whenever he says anything I want to blow my brains out.
November 13, 20214 yr as talented/improved as the USMNT is from my time growing up watching them, it's still so hard to spend every weekend watching Arsenal, only to tune into these matches where our guys look like HS players compared to the talent i see every week in the EPL. it's all the little things: first touch, quick decision making, first time passes, quick ball movement, etc. i love our guys, but got damn it is still frustrating how much better we could/should be.

His interview to TUDN “Mexico has been that mirror in which they [the United States] want to see themselves and reflect, what they want to copy,”

I was talking about Musah but I agree. Pepi is awesome when he gets service - he can work on affecting the pitch in other ways. But he's what - 18? 19?

November 13, 20214 yr Goddamn. Mexican player straight up maddogging the ref.Wonder what he said that got the ref glare?
November 13, 20214 yr Gregg gets a lot of deserved shit, but his encroachment on Raul as he approached the touch was worth a head nod. Raul completely forgot where he was and fucked up the touch.
November 13, 20214 yr I can't agree this is similar to USA-Mexico 1 and 2. I never felt like I knew what the hell the US's plan was in either of those games. I see a real gameplan here.
November 13, 20214 yr Completely disagree with Twellman. Mexico has had the two best chances, but overall play has been roughly 50/50. US actually leads in possession (53/47) and shots (7/2 vs 5/2). But Twellman's schtick is to go with an opinion and go hard.

November 13, 20214 yr Well, hopefully young legs and a continued non-stop attack will wear the old ass Mexicans out in the second half. /crossesfingers

We've gotten just as good of chances as Mexico.
November 13, 20214 yr Mexico had 2 dangerous chances. I'd count Weah's shot on goal as dangerous, too. Other than that we've been the better team. 7 to 5 shots - 55/45 possession - more passes and slightly better accuracy. 4 fouls to 8. Gotta keep it up in the 2nd - give Puli 20-30. Ultimately nothing wrong with a point here.
November 13, 20214 yr Back line for US has been sloppy... Thank goodness for a couple saves by US goalie.
