Dallas vs. NYG game thread: playoffs, here we come.

Featured Replies

What in the wide world of sports could be weirder, in today’s covid world, than our Dallas Cowboys making the playoffs.

I can cheer for the Cowboys to win, & philly to beat WFC... it’s as simple as that.

Just saw the title - had no idea you were a Washington fan.

I can't ever cheer for philly, but if they beat the Washington racists and Dallas wins, I'd be okay with that.

Somebody's gotta win this crappy division, might as well be the good guys.

Overfed can get his 1,000 yards. I only care, if it helps us win.

Zeke needs 63, Lamb can hit 1k with 108 yards.

Do Cowboys fans want to win and make the playoffs? Serious question. It's a real conundrum when I've checked in with fans in other places.

Yes. Want to win. Certainly, winning the division is a benefit of that.

Yes. Make the playoffs.

They've screwed up any hope of a great draft pick. We're past the point of no return. Only hope is to win out.

If you have a chance to make the playoffs then screw draft placement. Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Go Giants.  I want a 6-10 team to make the playoffs for the lulz and league embarrassment.

First: welcome back.

Second: I'd like to answer your question with a question of my own--even if the Cowboys had the No.1 overall pick, what suggests to you that there'd be demonstrable, long-term improvement given the Jones family's perpetual mismanagement and myopia?

So about the Defense...

Absolutely perfect open.

Couldn’t happen to a better team.

Did they make the flight?

We need to check the manifest.

Jaylon Smith is such a fucking tool, acting like an idiot  punk ass in the hallway of a junior high after pushing the qb out of bounds and then being completely lost on the td.

To be fair, the eagles raced to a 14-3 lead last week. And then proceeded to give up 37-3 after that.

I do not think it’s happening today. But just saying.

False. Aside from a few outlier years, the NFL playoffs is pretty chalk. The higher seeds come out on top. Conference championship is usually your top 3 seeds. The upsets happen in the wild card round. This team stands absolutely zero chance in the playoffs. Don't let the 3 game win streak fool you. We would not play those shit of teams come playoff team and Dalton and this team would be massively exposed.

Plasma

Jaylon Smith didn't know who had the ball till he was celebrating in the endzone

Great throw there.

Lulz that was definitely DPI but that was still a crazy throw.

Did they threaten do cut Zeke's whores off?

Man pollard runs 30-40 on that one. Chunky slow.

I know there’s a real answer to this question and I’m just in the dark, but where have you been? We’ve talked about one thing in the cowboys thread for about 3 months now. One thing.

We’re gonna fuck around and be fooled into keeping Nolan with all these fucking turnovers. I can’t remember a stretch in my lifetime where we’ve had this kind of turnover luck.

Jesus dalton throw the ball away. You’re not a scrambler. Jesus. M

And look at this shit defense getting another turnover and nothing t show for it but a FG.

Dalton is fresh off of the best game I’ve ever seen him play lol. Short leash

God I hope not. Unless it just purely a talent issue, the defensive coaching has been bad. Out of position. Always trailing. Giving up big plays.

Not sure Nolan is coaching the “turnover play” but you’re right about turnover luck. This team has never had this before.
