Dallas vs. NYG game thread: playoffs, here we come.

Dalton hurt. That's literally a Million dollar injury with his contract incentives.

A receiver who is lined up outside the tackle box and coming back to make a block on the line of scrimmage.  He was in motion and got past the tight end who was also lined up on that side.   You cannot block a defender under the waste in that manner.  It’s fairly clear in the rule book.
It was also pretty clear that he didn't approach the defender from behind or the side.

You definitely need to put GG in if Dalton can’t even do a basic handoff. Wow

Yep, sure fire way to fumble an exchange or make the RB hesitate for a split second.  It impedes the runner’s momentum trying to hand it off like that.

The two point conversion debate proves how DKR was way ahead of his time.  He wanted to surprise the Hog D in 69, by going for 2 earlier than the last few minutes of the game.  So when we scored to make it 14 to 6, at beginning of 4th quarter, he went for 2.  Boom 14-8, led to 15-14.

Piggy never recovered from that loss.

He hit him in the side of the knee.  The defender was crashing down on to seal the edge.

And now they can kick a FG and go down by 1. I know going for 2 isn't a given, but ...

It was actually the right call, can’t hit a guy below the waste in that instance.  That’s as easy a call as there is to make.

so you can't block below the waist at the los? huh

Look he gotta throw that ball. It wasn’t a ton of time but he had enough time.

Throw it out the back of the end zone. Your hand is hurt. You could fumble it holding onto it.

One more field goal and we got the lead.

Not outside the tackle box.

Well yes, this is one of the situations where now it doesn't look as good.

We are gonna lose aren’t we

Either we’ll win and the WFT will win, or we’ll lose and WFT will lose. I haven’t figured it out yet, but you can put all your money on one of the two scenarios happening

Dalton isn’t even holding the tablet with his left. I’m willing. To bet the giants T off on that side and knock the ball loose.

Pretty much. Been saying it all game. We win and so does Washington. We lose and they lose.

So predictable.
Giants turnover plz

It’s amazing. For about a decade, up all the way until 4 weeks ago, we didn’t even beg for turnovers. Never happened.

Now they get 2-3 a game.

It's looking bigger with the 3 and out following up.

Meh, score a TD here and make it a moot point.

Jones's designed runs have been ineffective all game, yet the plays are still being sent in.

Yup, Garrett is definitely calling plays today.

Wow a defensive stand. I was wrong earlier; it looks like a bunch of guys give a damn

Man sort of sucks to win NFC East for draft position. Whoever wins drops to 19 assuming they lose in wild card game. Probably 9 or 10 spots.

Ugh. Can’t take sacks here. Either they need to draw up plays to get the ball out quicker or he needs to let loose

Style of the times, or get shot.

Sending Giants negative waves to make turnover

Shoot him

If he's gonna get all coked up, Jaylon Smith should play better...

Sean lee is still playing?

He’s coaching since halftime. Notice the change in defense?

NFC. Or at least this division is pathetic. Someone has to win and hope it will be us. Crazy to think an 11-5 Indy will miss playoffs in AFC and either Dallas or WFT will make it in. Daniel Jones is a hot mess.

Holy shit, throw the challenge flag

That’s not a catch. But they won’t challenge in time.
