As my wifes' grandmother said to her the morning she walked into her hospital room, my wife, beaming with joy as she was holding our first born child, "Honey she's beautiful.  You realize that now you'll only ever be as happy as your saddest child".  I cannot imagine the grief.  Fuck the last 12 months on this planet.
