her district is the colorado 3rd...the western half of colorado.

congressionaldistrictmap_0.jpg

in 2020, 419,919 people voted in the district.  that was up from 336,189 in 2018 and 374,037 in the 2016 presidential year.

boebert won with 215,279.

dem had 190,695.

libertarian had 9,841.

unity had 4,104.

her win % of 51.27% was the lowest since republicans took the seat in 2010 (2012 was 53%, 2014 was 58%, 2016 was 55%, and 2018 was 51.5%).

unlikely that she will lose unless the typical midterm voter enthusiasm drop only hits the republican side and the third parties all go frisch's way.  2020 had an anti-trump enthusiasm as the the dem votes went from 150K in 2016 and 146K in 2018 up to 191K in 2020.  if that trend were to hold, that would be big but we know how midterms go (2014 midterm only had 100K dem votes).

Mesa and Pueblo counties are the main reason she will likely win again, unfortunately.

Will it be because they like the way she’s delivered for them as a member of Congress?

Montross and Delta are very red as well. Pretty much once you get north of Ouray and Telluride on up through Grand Junction it is red as fuck.

My county did our part although Bayfield tends to fuck the numbers a bit.

What he should have done was hired a hooker.

going low on an opponents' personal "character" decisions is an interesting choice when you have been arrested numerous times and your husband has been arrested for indecent exposure to a minor.

but yeah, we are through the looking glass i guess.

LOL, I'm in the 5th district now.  Its probably just as red, but our rep isn't as visibly stupid as Boebert.

Sorry he didn't want to risk being seen with you in public by meeting you at a hotel, Lauren. Get over it. Besides, I'm sure you do your best work in a storage unit.

Boobert kills dog of neighbor as an extension of her power trip.

AOC uses the trash icon when describing Boobert.

So, both sides!

I believe US citizens, especially female citizens, aren’t going to just accept stripping away their God given rights. So, I am willing to believe this.

And her opponent in the primary has come out in favor of Frisch now.  Maybe not every single Republican is totally insane?  The mind boggles.

It is difficult to imagine Christians not being aware of biblical admonishments about the storied End Days, ie those who make prophesies about their imminent arrival are false prophets.

See, you'd actually have to read the Bible to know that, though.
