A high, hanging short punt. WTF didn't they field it instead of letting it roll 20 yards.

Wow, as soon as I saw him take off I said "Are they trying to get their backup QB killed?"

And sure enough, he got popped in the head/neck area.

Correct call

You are a runner, you dive forward, you may get popped. It's football. Just because it's the QB he can't be untouchable.

What in the living fuck is Pereira talking about?  He was in no way a defenseless player.

#24

Pereira "he's defenseless cuz his knee hit the ground."

Absolutely retarded, his knee hit a millisecond before the defender contacted the QB's helmet.  As if he could have done anything different.

There's no targeting in the NFL.

Didn't Q Diggs get ejected for targeting this year?

100 percent. If the exact same hit had been delivered to a tailback, there would be no discussion.

I'm all for protecting QBs, but the QBs have to take advantage of the protection that is currently offered within the rules, which is substantial. You run downfield and dive head first, you're just as live as anyone else.

Ejected for helmet-to-helmet, which is not targeting (and not an automatic ejection like in CFB).

Defensive struggle and all but sheesh Aikman’s commentary makes the game so boring
Seattle is one of the most boring teams in Football and have been for years.

Awesome play.

Love to see us do that sometime on one of the billion or so times a game ou runs that play.

Great play since it worked.  They could easily fake that screen and burn him deep.

They caved to metkalf bitching about not getting “his”. Williams read it like a book
