January 9, 20214 yr Liverpool knocked out Villa yesterday. Blackpool v West Brom, Burnley v MK Dons, and QPR vs Fulham are all currently in ET but Fulham has gone up 2-0. No replays this year. Arsenal and Newcastle are about to kick off.
January 9, 20214 yr Drama in the Arsenal match but 2-0 win for the good guys. Man U scores early, where’s the fun in that?
January 9, 20214 yr 13 minutes ago, WBT said: United wins 1-0. Watched the whole thing. Really boring game. I thought Ole would put on some academy players to give the a chance in the second half but United's inability to separate themselves from Watford made him sub Rashford, Martial, and Matic in the second half. Also I hope Eric Bally isn't injured again. The dude can't catch a break.
January 10, 20214 yr Author I'm watching Leeds at Crawley Town right now. My favorite part of the FA cup is seeing premier league teams playing at these stadiums that would barely pass muster for a 3A Texas high school football team.

January 10, 20214 yr Author Wow, this is wild. Quote The ground’s current capacity is 3,185 of which 389 is seated.[1] Rossett Park has three sides with the primary covered stand, including the modest press area, behind one of the goals. The dugout length of the field is behind residences on Rossett Road. Marine A.F.C.'s supporters association operates a merchandise shop at the ground.[2]
January 10, 20214 yr 2 hours ago, Captain Ron said: This looks like a park Honestly this is one of the coolest things about English soccer. The guys on that team are probably barely even semi-pro. I'm sure most if not all of them have other jobs. And they get to play one of the top sides in all of Europe. Talk about story for your grandkids.
January 10, 20214 yr Well dang, Kane isn't even on the bench. He is the captain of the English NT, the least Mou could do was get him 5 minutes for these guys to say they played against him.

January 10, 20214 yr 3 hours ago, WBT said: And League Two Crawley Town spanks Leeds 3-0 Leeds, like Aston Villa, was out their entire first team and coach so it was their youth team that lost to Crawley Town. Crawley Town won't complain about their prize money going up with the win though. Edit: Nope I was thinking about Derby from yesterday. Leeds just lost. Edited January 10, 20214 yr by SimonBolivar
January 10, 20214 yr They mentioned that guy in the tree on the Talksport Radio telecast if you have sat radio. Most of the people on that side of the field appeared to have been watching from their fences and yards. It reminds me of this Martinez Classic that is run out in Concord, Mass and the track is basically in our friend's back yard.

January 11, 20214 yr Author West Ham and Stockport County are scoreless at halftime. Stockport's stadium looks bigger than Crawley's and obviously Marine's but the playing surface looks like a sheep pasture.

Death, taxes, and City getting the easiest draw. City always get easy draws. Look at their last 4 champions league group stages or draws in fa cups and League cups from previous years.
January 22, 20214 yr Author A hell of a strike puts Wolves up 1-0 over non-league Chorley (the other magpies). Quote Chorley play at Victory Park. The ground has a capacity of 4,300, of which 2,800 is covered standing and 900 is covered seating.[16] Construction of Victory Park was completed in 1920 at a cost of £1,000. The stadium was named to commemorate the end of the First World War.[17] The ground was very different from the Victory Park of today, as both ends of the ground were exposed to the weather and there was no concrete terracing. The grandstand was a modest wooden structure with accommodation for 600.[5] Chorley, with the aid of £654 raised by a special bazaar, bought Victory Park in 1926 for £868. The Supporters' Club provided £100.[5] In November 1945 a fire broke out and destroyed the main wooden stand shortly after it had been vacated following an FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley,[18] which had been attended by a crowd of 4,019. The stand was practically destroyed and gutted all but the dressing rooms, and the efforts of firemen could not prevent the loss of valuable property, equipment and playing kit. Work on the new grandstand began in 1947, costing £5,500 – five and a half times the price of the original one.[5] Edited January 22, 20214 yr by WBT
