May 7, 20232 yr Kron Gracie isn't athletic at all. Dude needs to just stick to jujitsu, if he wasn't a Gracie he would be cut after tonight.
May 7, 20232 yr That Lopez loss was fun to watch. Just needed more experience and cardio. Showed Kron Gracie what heartfelt submissions look like.

May 7, 20232 yr It will be a split decision, but probably shouldn't be. But bad looks for Sterling at times.
May 7, 20232 yr Wtf was that 5th round from Sterling? It was potentially too close to take the 5th off. Champion should always go out to win the 5th
May 7, 20232 yr Belal is fucking horrible. Couldnt press on a dude fighting with one arm. Feel bad for Burns because whether it was a preexisting injury, or causes by opponent, his potential was better than that. I had 48-47 Cejudo. The striking numbers favor Aljo as does most of the media score (its a very reliable indicator). But on the eye-test I give the nod to Henry for the aggression, and it seems like he had the better of the take-downs. Either decision is fair though.
May 13, 20232 yr Why is this card that is America at fucking 11am? Haha no shit. Fights during the day are dumb. Fucking idiots in the crowd booing Almeida for working on the ground. Textbook win.

Skipped the Smith vs. Walker fight, one could imagine how that went down. Bryan Battle, young fighter out of host town Charlotte, here's his entire fight. Cool to see this and his emotion after the fight.
May 17, 20232 yr https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter/_/id/600034052/league/ufc Check out the two prelim fights scheduled. I'm sure they might get bumped up due to injuries. It's cheeky as fuck, The BMF Title, but Dustin vs. Justin, 1, is one of my favorite fights. Poirier's leg was close to being useless, and he found a way to dig deep. I'm honestly not sure how much he enjoys training/fighting, but he always shows up. And Gaethje likes to fight so much that he forgets that he is a wrestler. His performance against up-and-comer Fiziev put a metal stamp on being an elite Lightweight gatekeeper. Edited May 17, 20232 yr by JohnnyRage
June 4, 20232 yr Been watching on and off today’s card. Santos’ ground game is fucking annoying. Pass his goddamn guard. Side note, he is from the same city as some of my family. /csb
June 4, 20232 yr Yeah, that kid had no idea what he was walking into. Or maybe he did, it was extremely short notice. Regardless, got slept.
June 4, 20232 yr I only caught the last two rounds of the headlining bout. How controversial was that split decision?

June 10, 20232 yr Will the real Olivera show up? Can he still see? Those glasses are Thic. In his failed title defense there was stamina nor heart. Dariush is a No-Gi BJJ Champion. Most UFC fighters have good submission defense until they become exhausted. Can Charles resist long enough the desire to trade shots and bang to get to a place where they then can settle the grappling issue? Has Dariush ever had to empty his gas tank?
June 10, 20232 yr Two early prelims at 6. Meh card, but Canada is pretty pumped post COVID. I usually sign up for extra work on Saturdays, but I'm taking it easy after having to Karate Champ two country dogs. I old man fell down because you can't kick in two directions at the same time. They won 2 bites to none. Live to fight another day. https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter Edited June 10, 20232 yr by JohnnyRage
June 11, 20232 yr I love how Charles always goes over and shakes the hand/hugs his opponent and corner. Boa sorte Charles!
June 18, 20232 yr One of the best KOs in a bit with Torres delivering a perfect elbow. Vittori showed a ton of heart to finish. I thought he was done multiple times throughout. Impressive performance from Cannonier.
