Normally I'd have been bored of it, but I was actually entertained watching a defending champion just get absolutely manhandled and able to do nothing to stop it. 25 seconds each round and he was a ragdoll.

I too found it captivating. Both men have interesting paths. Khamzat has seemed near retirement a couple of times due to various issues. In other fights he's chosen to bang, almost to his detriment. But it was wild to see him put a champion in a crucifix multiple times, and it was interesting to see if DDP would break. He kind of did, he kind of didn't. I was entertained.

Rampage Jacksons son, an aspiring MMA fighter, committed attempted murder on a wrassler who’s now still in the ICU.

If you watch the video, its sickening.

Long story short, he was supposed make an in-ring appearance in this tiny local promotion, try to jump this wrestler, and have the other performers pull him off.

Instead, he picked the guy up, clanked his head off the canvas, then added about 20 punches at full force to the unconscious man before the other guys peeld him off.

Utterly psychopathic shit. His dude is a charismatic but complete nutcase and the apple didnt fall far from the tree.

I guess everyone has about the same feeling as I do about what UFC has turned into, but decent enough card tonight for 320

Espn had the winner for the main event reversed last night for a while.  I didn't watch, but checked the results and thought Damn, Ankalaev put it on him.

Holy fuck that was a shot to the ear

that Terminator mode Poatan looked fucking menacing, goddamn.

I thought his last fight exposed how stiff and vulnerable he could be, then he comes out and disassembles Ankalaev without taking on a scratch.

I guess he wasn't bullshitting when he said he was sick and injured at that time.

It will be interesting now to see if he wants to keep cutting weight to get to light heavy. He was 242 in July

Basically cleaned out LHW. If pay is still based on PPV, hes really got to take on the big dog at HW (Aspinall). And with how shallow that division is, fighting with anyone else not named Tom is arguably easier

Who the fuck is stopping Islam at 170?

khamzat is never fighting in that weight class again. a healthy kamaru usman with strong wrestling is interesting but hes not in a position to get that fight.

Does no comments mean no one watches this card?  Turned out to be fantastic.

Great performance by Yan taking out Merab.  Hopefully the Paramount folks tell DC to get lost. Him trying to convince us that Merab was winning this fight because he was able to hold Yan around the waist and do no damage is painful.

Bummer for Pantoja. Dude has been so dominant. Sucks that he loses his title like this. Hope he can come back strong and we can see him and Van get after it.

Stoppage was early in the Moreno fight but he was in a bad spot.

Payton Talbot looked great against a washed up Cejudo. Would have liked to see him finish him though.

Gutsy win by Blachovic. Good one to retire on.

Can’t think of any recent event that was halfway this good. Having no WMMA on main helped 🤣

Nobody deserves the belt more than Yan. Got robbed in 2 straight decisions. Correct judging aside he’d be 22-3 (actually 23-2 without dumb DQ vs Aljo), with a string of title defenses and firm claim to greatest BW of all time.

Pantoja injury was fucking gnarlly. No dislocation, hyperextension, or bone fractures in this sport grossed me out more than this one. The first snap was nasty enough and the second splay just sickening. 🤢

Hopefully Cejudo received backstage bonus like Dana promised him.

Dude went out swinging in a blaze of glory.

Agreed, great card. The only letdown was the injury. Main event was a banger and great action (since Merab couldn't get the takedown he desperately wanted).

Didn't watch the PPV, I caught the last two prelims I think.

I did see that UFC is finally coming back to Houston in Feb....unfortunately only a Fight Night.  It will have been about 4 years since the last one here.  It is always a good time rolling up and watching almost 8 hours of fighting (well a lot of dead drinking time in between but I am not complaining).

Saw Strickland v Hernandez is the announced main event for that card.

Dana confirmed that he did in the post fight presser
