Not well-played by either side, but 9-3 still counts.

Lamar in half an hour.

The errors are worrying me.  Another 4 today after 3 on Wednesday night.

I can excuse Marder and Cantu's errors today - both new to the program.  But Jefferson with 2?  Blahhhhhhhh

Only 4 games, very early,  but you can see the void left by Elish.    Thus far team does not seem to be playing with the intensity and focus that Elish brought  to the whole team.    Her enthusiasm, focus, and drive to be the best will be missed by the entire team.   Results in errors and other mistakes.

As they say,  a superstar (Elish) makes everyone better.    Jefferson, Rhodes, Burke, and Iakopo are stars in their own right,  but like many they just don't have that "let's go" leadership personality.

That said,  Covid protocol affected the team.   They are really just getting to know each other.

10-0 (5) final

Early game with some fireworks

Miss St solo HR

Rhodes 2-run HR

Iakopo solo yack - third straight game with a HR

Burke RBI double.  4-1 Texas bottom 3

A. Washington RBI single.  5-1 Texas

MSU is #25 so our first top 25 opponent

Damn! Rhodes over the scoreboard! 8-1 Texas

Easy call. Dunno what Amanda saw. It bounced straight up off the bat

8-7 Texas bottom of the 6th. We need runs here

Nope. Gotta win it in the circle here to avoid a tie game or deficit

Texas wins 8-7!

Glad to see them hold on the win.   6-0 for the season

Early lead for us, this probably won’t be close.

UConn is coming off a win against Baylor. I hope we're not sleeping on them

Nice to get one back!

Rhodes - so hot.

7-2 Texas

This team can hit for power!

This is why I can’t handle Megan. “Spectacular” play? Please.

Not Megan today. Still too much hyperbole.

It's Amanda Scarborough.  The aggy.
