Why the fuck did the ref not let them get a free play? Dumb to call it dead. Let it go.

Because Donovan Smith (Tampa LT) moved early in response to the neutral zone infraction.

I didn't know this was a rule. So if he didn't move, they let the play go on for a free play? Not sure I understand the reasoning behind this.

That’s always been the rule. If the lineman moves, it’s just a neutral zone infraction. It makes sense to do it on short yardage situations. But if you stay in your stance and catch them in the neutral zone that’s the free play. They can’t just let it go our it would be a false start. That’s why they have to call something.

Huge play by NO to keep the TD away from Gronk. As a Dallas fan, I am jealous of defenders who make plays and are active.

Not sure I agree with Troy's take on him being beat off the line there. Don't think MT ever had his feet under him

That’s what happens when we’re down for 10 years and they get SEC SEC hype.

He’s had several ... maybe the ribs?

His arm looked bad before the ribs.

For sure, he’s got nothing on the ball.

So are allowed to just shove the defender with your hand into his facemask and grab him and he's called for holding? Lulz

What the fuck are these long passes on 3rd and short? Twice already and Brady has been very bad on both.

Is Herman calling plays?

Not an INT. If they're not going for it, it was pretty much an arm punt anyways

I don't get this mindset. It wasn't like a punt. You don't punt on 3rd down. And throwing a heave on 3rd and 1 into double coverage towards the sideline is idiotic.

I'm saying it reads link an INT in the box score, but it is effectively the same thing as an incomplete pass.

edit: all of this if it actually were an INT

It's sad this is when we got the Brady vs Brees playoff matchup. Both way over the hill and close to retirement. Both look bad.
