Just finished the 2nd season of Solo Leveling the other day. It's incredible. Blows season 1 out of the water.

I just started Solo Leveling. Watched the first 2 episodes last night.

It took me a few episodes to really get into it. Really picks up towards the end of season 1 and then kicks into high gear for Season 2.

Solo Leveling was pretty awesome. And something weird happened. My wife sat down and watched it with me. She got hooked. She never watches anime with me.

After a long absence… and definitely biased by my recent trip to Japan. Started watching couple of the newer titles both available on Netflix. Dandadan and Frieren… two very different vibes. Any other fans of these two titles?

Just started Frieren. The first few episodes were slow but now I'm on ep 8. It's so awesome.

100%, felt the same way initially

I started watching Anime to connect with my niece and nephew.  I still watch some even when they aren't around.

Attack on Titan is GOAT for me.  Death Note was enjoyable for a few seasons.  Neon Genesis Evangelion was interesting as it explored the physiological impacts on child warriors.  Berserk might be one of the most depressing things I've ever watched.  Vinland Saga is maybe worth a watch, Game of Thrones meets anime.  I couldn't get into Demon Slayer or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, although both are widely praised.

Non-traditional anime I enjoyed: Castlevania and Blue Eyed Samurai.

Was recently surprised by Delicious in Dungeon. Sounds stupid, but it works because they take it seriously but not too serious.

Just started this earlier today. I have been pretty busy lately so I have only been watching Lazarus because I loved Cowboy Bepop back in the day. Not sure but I am just not getting into it like I thought I would

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle dominated the box office this weekend. $70M in US and Canada, over $400M international so far. I'll wait a few months until its available to stream, but that's pretty cool to see.

That's why the last 3 arcs will be movies instead of series.  I'm sure they'll do like they did with Mugen train arc and release it as an episodic 8 episode season with stuff thrown in(allthougth my ONLY complaint is they probably made this too long...could have shaved 20 minutes easy).  But I enjoyed it.

Can't wait for the next ne.

Good luck.  I won't even attempt it. Too daunting.

I stalled out on Fairy Tale somewhere between ep 120 and 150. Can’t imagine tackling One Piece, at least the anime.

There’s times that it’s great and bingy

I plan to continue, but there so much shit to watch and so little time in a day

I would recommend watching one pace, https://onepace.net/en/watch . It makes the show so much more watchable. It'll shave off a couple hours per arc especially when you hit the middle/later arcs when they stall and throw in a bunch of bullshit so they don't catch up to the manga.

I’m not sure this quite fits, as it’s more of anime meets American cartoon, but if you have younger kids (my 10 and 13 yo still enjoy it), watch (or rewatch) avatar the last air bender with them. It is a kids show, so it has some childish moments, but I enjoyed it and I was 40 the first time I saw it.  Sprinkled with quite a few good messages for kids too.

I recently ran across this and had a massive flashback to lil' RPM's mid 1960's cartoon choices. Pretty sure this ran on KTVT 11 in DFW. Before Attack on Titan, before Cowboy Bebop there was Tobor, The 8th Man.
