May 25May 25 Holy shit. I just saw the USD/VND. You are going to live like a king. 26000 VND. That's like 50 cents for a beer. Edit its even cheaper than that. More like 30 cents Edited May 25May 25 by midtown

More like 30 cents Vietnam has a pretty vibrant craft beer scene. After a few days of drinking their mainstream beers, which are pretty light, you might have a hankering for an IPA of fuller bodied beer. They seemed to run by Americans or Aussies. Craft beer places I went to: Hanoi: Pasteur St. - Old Quarter Hue: Imperial Craft Bia Saigon: Heart of Darkness, 7 Bridges, Winking Seal All were good. You will pay more than 50 cents, however.
May 25May 25 I don't imbibe so it'll be lots of great coffee for me. I have a high end coffee tour planned.

Not if you stick to La Rue, Huda, or Ba ba ba 😀 I definitely remember paying .80 for La Rue in Hoi An back in 2017 and the dong is way lower now. But yeah Im sure craft beer is going to be more. September 23Sep 23 Figured this could go here. My friend wants to go to Bali for her 50th bday next year and I’m trying to talk her out of it, especially after seeing the info here. Anyone been to the Mentawai islands off of Sumatra? Saw them on Parlay Revival YouTube and they look beautiful and up and coming in the touristy scene. Figured that might be a suitable alternative.

I swear we had 26 beers one night for around $10. Granted.....it tasted like cardboard but still......
