90s country was for me the perfect era of country music and maybe its because I am a Yankee but it seems like Mark Chesnutt never gets enough credit. Aside from George Strait and Garth, MC is up there with Alan Jackson and Tracy Lawrence as the voice of an era.

It is crazy how many of his songs are "covers" but he just absolutely crushes them. Brother Jukebox, I'll think of Something, even the ones where they may not be as good as the other version Friends in Low Places, Don't want to miss a thing as still great in their old country way.

Who else listens to MC and other than him who is your go to for the 90s era "ol' country"

Yes, it’s definitely because you’re a yankee.

Other than King George....

Clint Black was the best for me, pre-marriage. Nothing better than sitting in a beer joint listening to that first album.

Mark Chesnutt was played just as often. Shenandoah and Restless Heart as well.

I've got a Mark Chestnutt Pandora station that gets regular action.  Still holds up

Marks best song.
