Well, it is a 7-2 red state, so not like he's bullying librul states.

No fucking shit Tim. Hurr durr "states rights". I wonder if Tim is also pondering whether these current batch of "conservatives" actually do really give a shit about liberty and freedom. Or the debt.

Watching them go after Indiana Republicans, with all kinds of statements about Mike Pence's brother driving it as revenge against Trump, that the Indiana Republicans who voted against redistricting are as bad as the guy who killed Charlie Kirk, etc.

They are really mad right now.  Really mad.  And spinning lots of conspiracy theories.  And planning to primary every Indiana Republican who so much as even considered voting against redistricting.

As the MAGA world turns.  It sounds like seventh grade. "I heard that Megyn talked smack about Ben for talking bad about Candace, but now Megyn doesn't say anything when Candace talks behind Erika's back!"

I guess the fate of our republic depends on how quickly or slowly these idiots maneuver themselves into a circular firing squad and start shooting?

And we are somehow all in the middle.

The more they attack each other, and I have a feeling we are in the very early stages of their little civil war, the less time they have stirring up the masses for Trump.

“These people” aren’t who are going to decide things. Double digit republican districts are flipping. Whether it is the middle shifting towards dems or apathetic dem voters turning out shit is changing. It’s interesting that at the state level legislators are telling Trumpco to fuck off. The house just passed a bipartisan bill overturning trumps EO banning unions for federal workers. MAGA republicans choosing not to run. 2026 is going to be interesting

This is completely true.  We're not budging "the base."  They've been the same since 2016, but they can't win an election by themselves.

But if these fault lines can develop and open up among the true believers, that does not bode well for them in the future.

Very interesting, especially among the younger Republicans (in their 50s and under) who still plan on a career in politics past Trump - they don't want to be tainted, and when you look at the shit-storm that has been brewing, they have to be nervous - when districts start flipping, it's not a given they can be easily flipped back (and 2026 means just 4 years until redistricting). Hell, Trump is willing to let tens of millions of Americans watch their healthcare costs soar within the next two months, which is going to piss people off and get them out next November, and he still can't figure out what to do with the economy, other than offer bailouts from the tariff problem he created.

And then there is 2028. It's pretty much a given the GOP will lose big next November, and you don't want to be the Presidential candidate in 2028 because you will lose and when you lose, you're out.  You can be war heroes like Bob Dobbs Dole or John McCain and it won't matter. You pick a bad year to run, that's your only chance.

Winner. They will justify going back to the same people because "this election is just too important to not unify on foundation principles."

fair maps? These fair maps were completely cracking Indianapolis and NW Indiana which just so happened to most likely move the 7-2 congressional map to 9-0. Indiana is definitely a red state but even they had 40% vote for Harris. You could easily argue that 6-3 GOP would be the fair split.

"... reject the leadership of President Trump."

These fucking people. He should be impeached for this "leadership".

More they talk about each other, the better.

Q had nothing on these people

TPUSA Turns Into War Between Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson

They are trashing the shit out of each other and other people within the GOP.

Will Ferrell Reaction GIF

Shapiro is going after Tucker for hosting Nazis and white supremacists and Andrew Tate (he actually brought up the sex trafficking and pornography) and Nick Fuentes and not attacking Candace Owens, and Tucker is not backing down and going all in continuing to give the Nazis and white supremacists a platform.

And Megyn Kelly catching plenty of strays.

The purity test is going to be a doozy.

Beginning to think that the right isn’t that concerned with anti-semitism after all.

Whenever I see Tim Pool’s name pop up, I can’t help but be reminded that he dropped out of formal education in 8th grade. He’s basically Jethro Bodine.

Isn't TPUSA a religious organization at it's core?  Doesn't seem very Christian to me.  Guess I was raised different.

Abbott and Patrick want these people in all of our high schools.

So Erika Kirk had a 5-hour sit down with Candace Parker pleading with her to stop disparaging her and her husband's name in wild conspiracy theories (aka I desperately need some of your audience to stay relevant), and Owens said, "nah bitch." And Tucker Carlson's out their passing out gasoline. Do I have that about right? What a fine group of individuals.

Here are the latest developments in the Heritage Foundation’s implosion.

Three entire units of Heritage — the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies, and the Center for Data Analysis — are departing the think tank more-or-less en masse to become part of @AmericanFreedom, the policy nonprofit founded by @Mike_Pence, chaired by @marctshort, and run by former Heritage chief of staff @TimChapman.

Relocating to AAF are leaders of the three centers — John Malcolm, Richard Stern, and Kevin Dayaratma — plus more than a dozen other staffers, at last count. Other Heritage scholars and staffers are also reportedly approaching AAF or seeking other means of escape from the disaster area:
wsj.com/politics/elect…

Just to be clear: AAF did not approach these staffers. They were not “poached.” The would-be Heritage refugees came to AAF.

All this comes after the very public departures of Robby George, Abby Moffat, and Shane McCullar from the Heritage board and Chris DeMuth, Stephen Moore, and other key personnel from the staff. Kevin Roberts’ idiotic defense of Tucker Carlson was the precipitating event, yes, but the underlying cause is Heritage’s turn away from fusionist conservatism to nationalist populism.

There’s one more striking thing to note here. While the various combatants in this MAGA civil war seem happy to ignore JD Vance’s exhortations, there’s someone else who you could imagine them paying a bit more attention to. But Donald Trump has shown himself completely incurious about the fight for the soul of the movement he built.

Last month, Trump was asked to weigh in after Carlson’s softball interview of Fuentes—one of the sparks that helped ignite the current flame. But Trump, as usual, seemed incapable of approaching the question except through the usual lens of his own vanity: “Well, I found him to be good,” Trump said of Carlson. “I mean, he said good things about me over the years. . . . I did an interview with him, we were at 300 million hits.”
