February 3, 20214 yr I haven’t heard of a single film in the Drama category Looked at last years list and the comedy/musical category was stacked:Once Upon a Time in HollywoodJoJo RabbitKnives OutRocketman
February 3, 20214 yr Someone, maybe it was me, made a joke a few months back about Palm Springs being nominated for Best Picture.
February 3, 20214 yr Rhea Seehorn... still no love... hard to take award shows seriously until she gets some overdue credit for her greatness.

February 3, 20214 yr i haven't seen a single movie in either category. however, we did binge-watch Ozark, The Crown, Schitt's Creek and the Mandalorian...i approve of all those lol. Dan Levy is the funniest damn thing i've seen on tv in forever. casting for The Crown is amazing. Josh O'Connor managed to make me feel sorry for and empathize with Charles 😮
February 3, 20214 yr Surprised Marielle Heller didn't get a nom for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for The Queen's Gambit.

February 4, 20214 yr In no way is The Flight Attendant a musical or a comedy. I need to get around to watching Mank and Trial of the Chicago Seven.

The Father is on the Criterion Network, but I already used my free trial and I'm cheap. Have seen Mank and Chicago 7.
February 4, 20214 yr What’s up with the drama pictures this year? I’ve only seen The Trial of the Chicago 7 and I’ve seen a shit load of movies this year. Edit saw HG’s post. Just odd with nominations that aren’t out yet.

February 4, 20214 yr I genuinely had no idea there were people that actually cared about award shows. Fascinating.

February 4, 20214 yr Man, I dropped the ball with my movie-watching last year. Haven't seen any of the Best Picture nominees other than Chicago 7 and Hamilton. Edited February 4, 20214 yr by satyanash
